2025 OL Prospect Thread
Alright guys, let’s have ourselves a 2025 OL Thread.
Current OL Questions: 1) We’ve invested in OL, what are your thoughts on their development path and potential roles next season? ...Kingsley, Morris, Humpries, Caliendo, & Nourzard. 2) Thuney’s holding it down at LT fairly well and getting paid big money, are you open to him playing there or moving him back to LG? For the playoffs & SB or next season? 3) Are you planning on picking up Jawan Taylor’s contract option in 2026 @ $27m cap hit? 2025 OL Draft Prospects: Depending on where you look we’ll get a chance to draft one of the following O-Lineman @ #32: Jones, Milum, Williams, Ersery, Simmons, Savaiinaea, Conley Jr or Booker. Some OL prospects that CP members have suggested for rounds 2-4 include Ratledge, Membou, Mbow, Jackson, Nelson, Brown, Colby, Belton, Fairchild & Zuhn, C Grant. Not much consistency in rankings or rounds for these prospects yet. 1) Would you take an O-Lineman in the first round or wait until later in the draft? 2) Who do you have your eye one? Why are they a good fit? Are they starters or projects? 3) Please add your own questions, comments, player draft profiles, links, videos etc for your favorite OL targets below! 2025 OL Prospect Videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gHlP2QlHI8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8AN0RTUowQ ^How to embed videos in post? I'd resign Humphries as insurance either way probably. Suspect BPA for me ends up being CB and DT/DE. |

The last thing this team should do is overcompensate and chase positions in the draft. Just let the draft come to you and take good players. We will eventually hit on a LT. It takes patience. |

Conerly didn't give up a pressure in like 10 of 13 games this year or something like that in the BIG 10. He's only giving up 1 sack in each of the past 2 seasons. That's 2 in over 1,000 pass-blocking snaps with something like 15 total pressures. That's against guys like Abdul Carter, JT Tuimoloau and Jack Sawyer, Josaiah Stewart, and Jah Joyner who will all be drafted this year. Matt Miller and Todd McShay like him a bunch too. I just don't think you make a conclusion about a guy who ****s up one rep against another 1st round player. I think I would do that when a guy is messing up over and over again and not anchoring. All reports I saw were that the DL was winning all day long. Probably to be expected early and in one-on-ones. This is not an overly strong class for OTs but there are a few good ones in there. Honestly, Veach has done well drafting away from a class's strengths, which is very weird but effective. |

I suppose that could change if Bolton leaves though
