I mean sure... 4 potential 1st round picks with the first 4 players. I can't see Hampton dropping out of the top 40 and I'd be surprised if Sawyer drops out of the top 48. The other two are absolute 1s. What board is this?

I'm thinking that very few teams will entertain trades with us, and if they do, they're going to be demanding on compensation, so I make no trade offers and decline all that I receive. The nice trade offers I receive seem to be pretty unlikely in reality, so they're for entertainment purposes only.

It's still more than a month until the draft, so things could change a lot. Right now I'm just looking for trends for the first couple of rounds.

I've found that virtually every time I run a mock there are a couple of DTs that fall to us that would be acceptable. Then at our 2nd pick, we seem to always have an acceptable OT or Edge available. I also seem to end up taking Cam Skattebo nearly every time with our pick at the end of the 3rd round.

Right now with the simulators it seems like the draft will line up nicely for the Chiefs' needs.

you know we are not drafting two RB let alone with our 2cd and top of 3rd round picks.

That's my screw up - Jalen Royals is a wide receiver from Utah State. And I hope they really do nab him.

I have the opposite when running mocks- always a DT I like available at 63 but often not an Edge player. Who are the 2nd round Edge players that you like?

I should have waited to post that. I'd only really just gotten started running some mocks. I'm trying to vary it up with various simulators and I'm tending to find that if we take an OT with our first pick, we're having trouble with finding an appropriate DT for the pick number afterward. So, if someone drops to us at OT for our first pick, we're probably going to have to try to either trade up or down for a DT, or look at another position and draft DT later.

I'm not a good source for who is actually a good pick or not at Edge. I'm relying to heavily on their Big Boards to try to gauge what would be an appropriate pick. I'm hoping to have some better opinions by draft day.

Mike Green in the event he falls due to questionable accusations but he’s probably going way before our 2nd round pick, and likely in the 1st

One thing I dislike in the draft simulators is that it never offers trades from teams that are wanting to trade down. Every trade offer I receive is from another team trying to trade up.
