Well . . . yeah we're excited.
And not for a measley "8 or 9 wins." We're thinking TEN! Let's see you laugh at THAT! ________________ BTW, I don't think HGH was illegal when he had his last neck surgery in early 2011, not until later that year. And, if it was a legitimate and necessary medical treatment for his neck, the League would waive the prohibition in his case, at least during his recovery. The problem was they finally started TESTING for it late in 2014. . . |

See what I did there ^^^ ? See how easy it is to be honest? I just acknowledged the HGH situation, then added to that acknowledgement what is, upon closer inspection, an aggravating circumstance thereto.
IT'S NOT HARD TO BE HONEST ! _____________________ Now. Along those lines, one of you recently called these Chiefs the "greatest team ever." Well, they might soon take the crown as the greatest DYNASTY ever - though the 1970s Steelers (4-1 in SBs over six years); the 90s Cowboys (3-0 in SBs in four years); and the 2010s Patriots (3-2 in SBs + three AFCCGs in eight years) all retain persuasive arguments. No, I'm talking about "Greatest TEAM Ever." And there IS a correct answer. No, not a Broncos or Chiefs team, not the '85 Bears, the '00 Ravens or '07 Patriots. But there IS a correct answer, based in part on an incredible statistical achievement that can never be surpassed. This is not a joke ... one request, and I'll explain the whole thing! |

Marino had that epic season when you could basically beat the shit out of QB’s WR’s and anyone wanting to cross the middle of the field.
The rules made it far easier for Manning, Brady and Mahomes

Definitely true, yes. He had several epic seasons there, and your recounting the physical nature of the passing game back then makes me wonder how he blew the doors off every defense in the League with Smurf WRs like Mark Duper and Mark Clayton.

His last "HGH" fueled season... 2014 395 for 597 66.2% 4727 yards 39 TDs (2nd most yards of his career and 3rd most TDs) He played one more season were he could barely throw a duck...32nd ranked QB. HGH testing started in earnest that year. Then retired... So one season removed from throwing for almost 5000 yards and 39 TDs...he quits? Like I said..no decline has happened like this in NFL history for a QB...they gradually fade out like Roethlisberger, Brady, Rivers, Favre, Montana...they dont just lose their ability to throw a football overnight. I do think Athletes that suffer a career threatening injury should be able to use HGH to repair the damage...once healed they need to be tested weekly for the remainder of their careers.
The problem was Manning enjoyed his new found "fountain of youth"...and HGH was banned. A 28% + production increase in an already HOF career is no joke. His options were retire or cheat...he chose the latter. I am curious how much influence Horseface played in this ruse...it's just too similar to how the end of his career went down. |

No...I'm curious what role he played in the whole "ship to your house in your wife's name" ordeal...or if Manning acted alone. Who hooked him with a doctor that could prescribe it...under the table?
The reason I think he was more involved than people know...is he met with Manning after 2014 and requested a paycut. It is very strange to demand your QB take a cut after throwing for almost 5000 yards and 39 TDs...it makes no sense. Your QB would tell you to 'go **** yourself"...and I remember rumors that Manning was pissed. I think Elway got wind that HGH was going to part of the testing regiment for 2015...and Manning fell off cliff the next year. Sorry...Elway is not psychic. Well, TWO seasons removed from the all-time records . . . . . .
And that use of "wrap" is spelled with a 'w' . . . . . . . And of COURSE I can wrap my head around it, all of it - didn't you read my last couple posts? . . . . . . . And he wasn't 32nd in anything. He was 19th in comp%, 27th in passing yds, T-30th TD passes, 31st Ints (Bortles), 30th in QBRtg . . . . . . . So the entire thesis of your post is WRONG. Turns out I CAN 'rap' my head round the speed of his decline ...... __________________________ What I CAN'T quite wrap my head around is you saying "No decline has happened like this in NFL history for a QB." "NFL History," eh? . |

The Ten NFL Teams That Cheat Most and the Broncos' Shocking Ranking
1. Denver Broncos (CheatScore of 48 = THE BIGGEST NFL Cheaters) Related In the past decade, the Denver Broncos have had — by far — the most players suspended for PED usage.... The Broncos have cheated so much with PEDs that they've maxed out the potential points in this category. They should be at 12.0 CheatPoints based on the standards applied to the other 31 teams.... |
