Warren Sharp conveniently starts the clock on his extremely small sample size after the Bucs SB.

I wonder why

Yeah, cherry-picking stats to fit an agenda makes him look like a major idiot.

It's time to put an end to the myth that NFL officials help the Kansas City Chiefs win football games.*

1. Referees help the Chiefs with calls: Since Patrick Mahomes took over as the starting QB in 2018, the Chiefs have been called for 846 more penalty yards, against them, than their opponents. That's the 3rd worst differential of any team in the NFL. In fact, the zebras have been making life hard for the Chiefs.

Offensive drives turn into touchdowns at a 22% pace, league wide. Since 2018, the Chiefs have been called for offensive holding 196 times. The reason that this is important is that when a team is called for an offensive penalty during that drive, the touchdown rate falls from 22% to 14%. So, not only are the Chiefs victims of the most offensive holding calls, they've managed to overcome those penalties with a top rated offense.

2. Patrick Mahomes gets a beneficial flag any time he is touched: Since 2018, Patrick Mahomes has played in 112 games and has dropped back to pass more than 4,100 times. Of those 4,100+ drop backs, there have been a total of 30 roughing the passer flags. That's 16th of any QB who's played in the NFL sine 2009. Do the math.

3. The Chiefs always get the calls in crucial situations: Be it 3rd and long or 4th and medium, those big plays when it matters most, the conspiracy theory is that the officials go out of their way to help the Chiefs in those moments. On plays of 3rd and 10 or longer, or 4th and 5 or longer, the Chiefs have just 2 penalties, for the entire season, that were in their favor. That's 15th in the NFL. Let's add to that, this little factoid. When looking at penalties in the second half, in 1 score games in 2024, no team has had more flags thrown against them than the Chiefs.

This whole narrative that the officials always help the Chiefs is just plain garbage.

* statistical data is pre-post season.
I've posted this probably 50 times now. The responses are both hilarious and sad. As a society, we are pretty much ****ed. People simply won't accept reality if it doesn't make them feel good.

if fans should be upset with anyone they should be mad at the owners of their respective teams for going along with rigging the NFL for KC. Why aren't Bills fans for instance asking Terry Pegula why he's going along with rigging the NFL for their rival? Maybe corner Mike Brown at a restaurant and demand he not go along with the Clark's insidious plans?

I asked someone that last night.

If it's rigged for the Chiefs, then every other team is in on it. Where's the outrage at their OWN team for NOT paying the refs?

Crickets.

So many people think that "everyone else knows it too!". As if being in agreement with the irate pitchfork wielding mob makes it rational.

Timing matters.... It's not about quantity.... See Bengals DPI call vs chiefs and see non call on chiefs vs falcons.... Two very good and prime examples

Ok so you’re comparing different games with different reffing crews. Your comments strip away all context and it’s pretty obvious you have no clue what you’re talking about. This thread is filled with sourced posts proving you’re wrong.

How about you leave this forum permanently with the knowledge the chiefs are just better coached and more disciplined than your team. Occam’s razor. That explains everything bud.

You're a moron. You only have to go back EIGHT posts in this thread.
