Furnace on the fritz

Last night as I got home from work I noticed my home was cooler than usual. I checked the thermostat, saw it was calling for heat, and headed to the furnace itself to see if I could figure anything out.

Anyway, I noticed that the furnace was trying to kick on, but would shut itself down after about 5-8 seconds. I noticed a light on the circuit board that would come on as the furnace was trying to start up, but then would turn off like the system was cutting power.

Anyone have any thoughts on what may be wrong?

So I'm thinking about bringing my charcoal grill inside and lighting it up for a few hours this evening just to bring the temp up a bit. Think I should grill some chicken while I'm warming the place up?

It could be your board but what you are describing is that the furnace isn't seeing airflow from your combustion motor. You have a small motor just inside. Is it turning on. It's fairly obvious. Also you have a little pot that has a small rubber hose tan or clear. Take one end off lightly suck and blow a few times. Replace that end and do the same with the other end. Then try turning it back on

The tan hose in this picture. You may or may not have it and it could look very different

Are we talking about the hose right in the middle of the screenshot? I'm not sucking or blowing any gas in this situation am I?

Dang, that’s no good. If the $200 includes labor, that sounds about right, depending on where you live.
Last board I replaced was about that much a few years ago.

I don't believe the $200 will include labor. I don't really care how much it costs. I just want the damn thing fixed. Tech said they had to get the board from the manufacturer. I thought they might just have a store full of furnace parts somewhere. Hell I don't know about any of this stuff.
