Mahomes is looking for Kelce who isn't open. Watson comes all the way from the top and is open right in front of Patrick's face. Defender below isn't moving. He's covered that zone. Should have thrown it to Watson.



MVS is so open here at the 10. He's got at least 3 yards of separation here. Idk what Patrick is seeing bc the middle of the field in front of MVS is nothing but grass. Why wouldn't he throw this? This ended up being the nice Mahomes run.




MVS again wide the **** open ant the 16 and Patrick looks for Kelce. This was a decent Kelce catch but MVS might score a TD if Patrick hits him. 2 defenders followed Rice towards the bottom while MVS was running into wide open space at the top. Holy shit



One of the few routes Skyy ran well. Broke in side and beat his man with separation at the 10. Again right in front of Patrick's face and nothing but green grass in front of him. There was plenty of space to throw to Skyy. I don't understand.



MVS open again at the top of the screen at the 40. Mahomes checks down on an incomplete pass to Pacheco. He had time.



Blown coverage. Watson wide the hell open at the 14. Wtf is Patrick seeing? Throw the damn ball! That's a TD man.
Also Toney was open at the top by the sideline.

Mecole is only catching a wide open ball. Mvs continuously gives up steps because if it isn’t in stride he waits for the ball to come to him. So Mahomes is not at fault at all for our underperformance? Again, he is great, but is struggling and inconsistent this year. Again, the good news is he will get it on track and it usually is back on track for the remainder of the season.

I’ve said it all year, Mahomes is not himself this year. He is so locked on Kelce that he won’t even attempt to pass to others unless he absolutely has to. He has zero trust in this receiving core

No the WRs playing like shit makes him lose trust in them which makes him play like shit. Being an alpha isn’t going to teach Mvs how to come to the damn ball. The best coaching in the world hasn’t taught skyy simple route adjustments. Mecole isn’t magically going to learn to catch a contested ball.

I think maybe the lack of trust is causing him to go back to some bad habits

I'm willing to give him a bit of a pass for this week since he was sick and I'm guessing there wasn't a ton of prep for the broncos since I mean why would there be. But yeah the pics above are concerning. Fortunately he's gone through bad stretches before and comes back to his standard

OK... so your argument is Pat is passing on WR's that are open, because he doesn't trust them to catch the ball and instead throws into coverage and gets it picked? IF so, Pat needs to be the Man if he is the GOAT and make it work... I think he will, as he has in the past.
