They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Every game there are easy big plays missed becaise Mahomes doesnt trust them. He needs to evolve. This is going to be his QB life from here on out. You are going to be throwing to JAG's. Wide open receivers should be getting the ball thrown to them regardless if they are a JAG.
Yep. People need to quit pretending that Mahomes is infallible and all the blame falls on the WRs. They’ve been open more than they’ve gotten credit for.

We've seen this offense get just a little out of synch before, even with Tyreek. When it is, it can look rough. They'll get it together. They always do.

could have easily launched one here to watson on the first drive of the game for a chance at 7

As great as Mahomes is everyone just expected that he'd elevate the play of a bunch of JAG WR's and the offense would roll on. Instead it's the opposite of what's happened. Instead his play has fallen down closer to the level of his WR's. Because he doesn't just give them opportunities and accept they'll fail now and again he's forcing stuff in to Kelce and Watson and throwing INT's anyway.

If he can pat his chest and say "My bad, my bad" after an INT he might as well ****ing throw them the ball and build trust with them. Will that lead to a few interceptions? Sure, of course, but he's throwing them anyway because he gets impatient and forces the football down the field.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The 2021 lull was more about scheme.

Teams adjusted to Reid's vertical spread hybrid offense and both Reid and Mahomes struggled without the vertical shots.

Partly why our offense looked so good last year was Reid had fully adjusted back. We were now an offense that used MVS as a decoy deep but the primary targets were Kelce and Juju over the middle.

The issues now are not scheme but the players. Eventually it's not about the X's and O's but the Jimmys and Joes. We have too many below average players taking snaps in this offense and only Kelce is someone that currently scares defenses.

Man, I don't know what they were doing with some of those plays. There were head scratchers.

But when you can find multiple times guys are free and Mahomes isn't taking that, then they're all just a tick off, and it's not entirely the receivers. Five or so big plays are there for the taking every game and we're not taking them.

I don't believe they're short of talent, I believe they're short of experience, and a comfort level with each other.i also believe they'll get it together.

Yes but even an avg WR is a 1,000 yard receiver with Mahomes, Kelce and Reid.

I am so FN sick of hearing this crap from every TV personality when discussing our ST.

Toub was lucky enough to be the ST coach for (he did not draft him, or 'coach him up') one of the greatest return men in NFL history in Hester.

That's is it. That's all this "Special Teams Guru" has ever done. Period. He just happened to be the ST coach when his team drafted a HOF return man. Toub was about 5% of the reason Hester was great, and that 5% is just because.

He MAY HAVE BEEN one of the better ST coordinators in the league, but whatever he WAS he is trash now. I can't stand him. I can't stand how he insisted that Skyy Moore was a punt returner, even after 3 muffs, and I hate how he answers questions and treats reporters in his press conferences.

I pray that this old **** retires, and we get someone young, and up and coming to replace him. Reid has turned John Harbaugh into a SB winning HC, and he turned Pederson into a SB winning HC. Toub? Not only will he never be a SB winning HC, he isn't even Head Coach material.

Last season's scores

Vs Colts = 17 points

Vs Bills= 20 points

Vs Titans= 20 points (17 in regulation)

Vs Rams= 26 points (struggled in the redzone)

Vs Bengals= 24 points

Vs Texans= (24 in regulation)

Vs Seattle= 24 points

There were many games where the offense was far from great and had the same struggles we're seeing now.
