Spags doesn't show much during the season. In the playoffs things get nasty.

He must not think that Uche will translate well to what he wants to do in the playoffs.

They just don't seem to want speed rushers. Ever. I don't get it.

He's there if we need him.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The coaches are probably dumb.

Or, and hear me out on this, he sucks which is why he was available for a ham sandwich

they probably don't play him because it might hurt the run defense, which we are pretty good at

Hear me out, the guys we're currently playing over him have less sacks than him in more snaps.

No one is even saying he should start or he should get the majority of snaps. But for him to get 1 snap in a game and then inactive the next when we have one of the worst pass rushes in the league. That makes no sense.

Maybe he doesn't set the edge as well as Mike Danna and FAU. You know how important it is to set that edge on 3rd and long.

Or maybe they haven’t liked what they’ve seen from him since he’s arrived

I seem to remember that that was the dig on him when he came over. That he isn't good at run D because he's up the arc and not trying to set an edge.

So I get not using him on first and second down, or third and short. But passing downs? Not even as a rotational body?

Sure. He still has more sacks and higher pressure rate than FAU. Again, no one is asking for him to start. But for a pass rush as bad as ours it should be all hands on deck.

And unlike FAU he can play special teams so even more reason to have him active.

The only reason FAU is playing is because we burned a first round pick on him. He's the defense's Skyy Moore as of now.

Omenihu had a near 16% pass rush win rate in his first game back. Not shocking that we have 6 sacks in 2 games since he’s been back.

Probably rolling with him a DE anyway
