I was worried about the running game because of the lack of one last season

Not too worried now.

Peters doesn't have Sanders straight line speed, but teams avoid that whole side of the field the exact same way QBs did against Sanders.

You wouldn't know that because you weren't alive when Sanders was a player in his prime.

Bruce Smith was a 3-4 end that abused OL the same way Jones does and we are about to see Jones go into his second and third years in the NFL where most great DL make a huge jump. I'm excited to see Jones with more muscle and after putting in serious work on his technique. What we saw as a rookie was based on pure talent.

Go watch Emmitt Smith run the ball and then watch Hunts videos...I know it sounds far fetched, but thy are extremely similar runners. Hunt won't get the workload Emmitt did because the game has changed, but the vision, balance, power and patience are all there.

Again, I had the pleasure of watching his whole career and his running style is very similar to the way Hunt runs.

What made Emmitt great was

Vision
Change of direction ability
Balance
Heart
Making guys miss
Powering through arm tackles
Good receiver out of the backfield
That jump cut though...
(His OL)

Again, go watch Hunts videos and you will see every single one of those traits displayed at a high level.

Now, I'm clearly not saying Hunt is going to be Emmitt Smith, just that their styles are similar and that if Hunt reaches his potential he will be compared to a poor mans Emmitt Smith.
Hmm

I'll give you Hunt, provided he remains on his current trajectory and doesn't get hurt.

Peters will still never be Deion. And Jones has to dominate more than just scrub-level guards.

Yeah, Peters isnt scared to go heads up with the offense! lol Peters is a great tackler. Deion wanted no part of tackling. lol

QBs treat Peters exactly how they treated Deion Sanders.

They basically completely avoid his side of the field out of respect.

Chris Jones is 2 games into his second year and is already dominant against the run and pass.

He is NOWHERE NEAR his ceiling, isn't even 100% after offseason surgery and completely dominated one of the best OLs out there with a historic performance.

If you can't see his "upside" as being one of the best ever, I'm not sure what to tell you.

The Eagles threw at him for 22 yard gain on the first drive of the game.

He is not, and never will be Deion.

He's more in the Hasty class.

As for Jones, the LG he dominated is trash and has already been benched.

You don't have to make every player out to be a HOFer. It's fine if Peters is Hasty and Jones is Richard Seymour. Slow your roll.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why you even bother evaluating players, especially young players, because you're embarrassingly bad with your projections.

I mean, I can't think of anyone worse that's ever posted on this site.
