After they win the Super Bowl, I think George should break tradition and do THREE things instead of ten. Just to commemorate the 3-peat.

GREAT post, George! You struck a cord with me, when you said you were so happy Chiefs made it "back" to the Superbowl. I have close cousins that live in Denver, and had to suffer through all the Elway years of them winning the conference and seemingly "always" being in the Superbowl. I can remember when this version of the Chiefs finally made it back and telling my cousin, "I'm hoping they win, but just being able to finally return to the Superbowl, is fine with me!"

That’s hilarious. He was part of the process to hire the guy who would turn around and fire him instantly. God bless Andy Reid

No idea. I thought Clark interviewed Reid by himself when he realized Reid was available and Pioli was busy in Atlanta with another interview. Took a plane and cut him off before Andy could get to his next interview and everything.

No Clark took Pioli to Philadelphia to interview Reid. Pioli was just the Clint in Wichita in the room.

Thanks for the Ten Things GB. It's been missed. You are truly an eye-witness KC Chiefs historian deluxe. Yeah my heart beams for Kareem Hunt. I'm so glad he gets to be a part of this season and has been a great contributor. What a story his return is. It's almost like a fictional event but it really came true for him to be forgiven and return to his original team.
On a side note, there is something else the Chiefs can accomplish that I haven't heard mentioned. The NFC and AFC are now tied at 29 Super Bowl wins each. The AFC was getting pounded continually by the NFC for like 15 or 16 years in a row. (Thanks Buffalo for your 0-4 contribution) Of course New England did most of the heavy lifting to get the AFC close again and now the Chiefs have the chance to put us over the top if they 3 -peat. If anybody still cares about the old NFL-AFL rivalry like many of us used to, this is a pretty cool opportunity in my book. Make it happen Chiefs!
