Oh we were spoiled all right. 1 playoff loss in 5 years.

Yeah, Damn Dick Vermeil.
Damn him for only caring that he prove to the world that it was him, and not Mike Martz, who engineered the Rams breakout season and turnaround of 1999.

That was Dick's motivation for coaching again. It was all about his ego.

Damn Carl for not knowing his friend well enough to figure that one out.

Damn KC fans who still have not figured this one out, and who continue to worship Dickie and spew hate at Herm, never realizing the irony.

The Vermeil administration hurt this team.

We found just 4 productive players in 4 years through the NFL Draft.

That's coming back to haunt us now...

Yep, the draft record sucked long before Vermeil got here.

Of all the OL ****ed up decisions, I don't understand the Kyle Turley one. He had proven he sucked last year. He gained weight? So what, a pig does that very well.
I honestly thought Welbourn could handle his job, and think we all knew we needed a bigger center to run Herms nOffense.
I didn't know anything about Terry, even though he had been in the league quite a while.
However, I was concerned that Miami would let a LT go in MCintosh if he was worth a shit.

No, but Vermy forced us to not have the luxury to draft/sign offensive lineman that could take over when the aging crew inevitably retired. Because of his instistence to only see the here and now and for the offense only, to make his case that either he could build an offense as good as Martz built or that he in fact built the '99 Rams offense, we were forced to spend the majority of our resources on patching a defense.

Dickie left this team in sorry-ass shape for the future, and you can bet that if thought he could get anything else out of them, he would have stuck around. His "legend" would have been tarnished with what his offense turned into, though.

It's kind of funny in that Vermeil really not only ruined our defense, but also ruined our offense by not making it a priority to build for a future that he would not be around here for. Very convenient.

The decision to hire Vermeil set this franchise back a decade.

Carl should be fired today for that.

After watching the Dallas Detroit game this weekend I'm adding Solari to my blame list. Worst play calling I have ever witnessed.
