I looove the way he came in felt some pressure from a D that was having their way with the OLine, made one good pass, and it immediately made the D respect him and there was no more 8 or 9 guys in the box action.

Brodie's long pass to Webb was ****ing beyooootiful. I hope he starts next week and Huard never sees the field again, ala Romo/Bledsoe.

It's scary, the Chiefs don't go outside the boundaries. We're like a grandma.

Croyle may not give KC any better chance to win than Huard, but that's not the point. This season isn't going anywhere anyway. So why start a 34 year old QB, and stunt Croyle's growth for another season?? It's pointless to start Huard when this team isn't even close to playoff caliber.

Let Croyle get some experience...Instead of having to go through his growing pains next season too.

Well my whole argument against starting Croyle over Huard has kind of gone to shit.

My reasoning was we would kill his confidence and growth by making him run for his life on every play behind our atrocious line, as well as having the passes he did get off only bounce off the receivers hands.

I must say our line is doing better than I thought and the receivers are catching better than I thought. So I guess I'm aboard the start Croyle wagon.

Yep totally agree.

Also our O-Line is playing really well so I think we might as well start him and see what happens. He can't be any worse.

The question is, will the return of Jared Allen make a huge difference?

I am not sure if it will or not. The defense has got to better with him coming back. If they can apply more pressure to the opposition qb, that will only help the cbs and lb's be better on defense.

just look at the speed of Croyle's passes....they get there immediately...

He and Bowe could back off those cheating defenses.

Huard looks like he is trying to throw paper.

If Croyle isn't announced as the starter for next week's game, there will be quite a few no-shows. Herm and Carl may be forced into making the change.

Honestly, KC doesn't look like it's going anywhere this year so you might as well start the young guy. Let the team see what he's got and get a jump on what you need to draft/acquire next year.

Can Jared Allen play QB?

Of course his return will be a positive, but the defense did not lose this game, not in the slightest. They forced three turnovers and the offense did nothing with them.
