Off Season Lets Talk Guns, Part 2

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Looks interesting. Apparently it's going to retail for around $700.

One shitty thing - it only comes with one magazine. That's pretty lame. Mag price is $35.

Yes-- still an SBR. Muzzle brakes, flash hiders / flash cans and suppressors are not counted as barrel length.

Last May, I won a .22 Little Bird AB suppressor in a raffle.

While I wait for the ATF to pull its thumb out, I'm now in the market for a .22 pistol with a threaded barrel.

So far, looking at a Ruger MK IV Target or Tactical, a Beretta 92FSR-22, or an FN 502 Tactical.

Main applications will be target shooting and general animal control, especially in gunshot-sensitive locations.

Any experience or recommendations?

I think if the break is pin and welded on it counts. But if it’s removable, nope.

Alright, fellas, I need some information, yes I know that means opinions. I would like to know what your lists are of "must haves" would consist of not necessarily in any order.
I am wanting to expand/grow my collection, not that it would be hard to do so, but in an orderly fashion of most important to least important.
Current list includes
12 gauge shotgun
9mm pistol
22lr rifle
What would be your next purchase and or purchases? Would you put a .22 Magnum next over a, say 5.56, .308, 6.5 Creedmore???
What say you all???

What are they for? For example, if you're getting a 12 ga. shotgun, is for hunting or HD? Widely different models/options/budgets depending on the answer. And so on.

I'd pick something that spits out pills at 3700fps or faster.
That way.
When the men with baby blue helmets and level 4 body armor show up. You'll have the right answer

I’d get an AR15 556/223

I’m kind of in love with the platform. If you want a 308 I’d get an AR10.

I have a little 8” 9MM on an AR platform that takes Glock magazines that is probably my favorite gun to shoot.

Probably start with an AR 15. Palmetto State Armory has solid really affordable rigs.

If I were starting from scratch I’d probably get an AR 15 with a 10.5” barrel and a pistol brace and then work on getting a tax stamp for a SBR.

That’s what I really want but it’s hard to go that direction when I already have a 556 in 16”. And by that I mean it’s hard to convince the wife.

You can find it easy enough, but the price is absolutely brutal.

I was at the gun store a couple of days ago and they had plenty of 9mm, but it was damned near a dollar per round. "On sale."

Didn't even check to see if they had any .223.
