Agreed. I believe the producers thought the series would still be ongoing for the Rick movies. That idea may have changed.

I actually think the last few seasons have been solid.

Sunday night's episode was epic, actually.

I tried to hang but it finally lost me around the Covid break. I'm sure I'll binge the last few seasons one day.

I stopped watching around the time that Rick left the show - don't know how many seasons ago that was. Just lost interest in the show. But, I've been thinking I might start from there and catch up at some point.

Has the graphic novel kept going as well? I was really into both the novel and the show, but just lost interest in both suddenly.

The comic ended a couple years ago. This is the final season of the television series, although I've heard rumors of a spinoff starring Carol and Daryl. Plus there's still the other 2 shows, Fear and World Beyond. Plus there's still the supposed "Rick Grimes movies" that may or may not be coming.

World Beyond ended (thank god, dumb emo kids). I’ve really been enjoying fear, besides an atomic bomb detonating, it’s got some (some?) interesting stories. Yup, carol and Daryl spin-off is coming. And don’t forget there’s a new series debuting this summer that has no ties to any current series. And, it’s got Olivia muni!! Whooo Hoooo!! And we know nothing about the Rick Grimes movies…..

Wife and I just started binge watching this show (yeah, I know, years late). Never was a huge zombie fan except for a few of those rare few movies that did them up right, like World War Z, 28 Weeks Later, Dawn Of The Dead (2004) and even for some comic relief, Zombieland. Really enjoying it so far. We're on season 3(?) where the psychopath dude from the town attacks the main group at the prison.

So what is the deal with Fear the Walking Dead and whatever else? Is this a continuation? Are those spinoff shows?
