I think last night was an anomaly, and they'll be better for it.

I think that.

If I am wrong, then I would like to see Veach get after it and go get a stable vet like Evans, Godwin, or similar from a tanking team around week 4 or 5, presumably when Jones has signed his extension and created some room. Someone proven, with stable hands.

We have a chance to repeat as SB champs this year, and though I like the idea of setting ourselves up for success down the line, sometimes you've gotta pull it forward and deal with those issues down the line.

I also wonder - if these issues linger - if we swing a big boy trade next year for Bowers to be Kelce's replacement.

Probably pretty stupid to trade up that far for a TE, but if Veach feels it in his plumbs, who am I to judge?

We can afford one other nice weapon for Mahomes. Especially because we hit on so many other draft picks.

Godwin plus Kelce equals repeat SB winner.

This has been my wet dream since the first time I saw Bowers play. He's way ahead of where Kelce was at the same age.

There is zero chance it's happening, but it's fun to think about.

So the Lions the team thar ran man coverage the most last year...ran 8.5% man last night...sat in zone and made the receivers read the coverage..

That speaks to why Moore doesn't get targets he and Mahomes just aren't on the same page.
