I don’t know man this is why I can’t put this game completely on Patrick like the 2021 loss to the Bengals. The entire offense got curbstomped and we just didn’t have a counter for it.

Feel the exact same way. My eyes tell me what you said is correct but who knows how much of this is protection, how much is Andy, and how much is Mahomes. A bit of everything probably but I agree that it didn't look like they adjusted much after it became evident Mahomes wasn't able to operate. Andy did the same thing in the Bucs Super Bowl when we had no business trying to run the offense that had gotten us there.

Yep, when Brady was getting pressured in the first quarter of the Bucs SB losses, they made a huge adjustment with the Gronk screens (along with the awful defensive calls)... no rolling outs tonight or anything really to slow them down.

Keeping Mahomes in the pocket was the Eagles game plan. Defending quick short throws was the Eagles game plan. Patrick made some mistakes, but we played straight into what the Eagles were defending against.
