But on the second INT where is he supposed to throw it away to without taking a safety & an intentional grounding?

Look I’m all aboard on the “Patrick played like shit”’ train, but our line was getting manhandled throughout the first half and we had zero answers for it with our playcalling or otherwise.

oh well that sucked but I'm looking forward to piss off the haters next year and be back in the Super Bowl. We get Rice back and hopefully a solid O line that will make our offense great again.

The OLine was total crap, but I think the NFL has a gameplan now for Mahomes, he needs to quit relying so much on mobility to be a playmaker and win games staying in the pocket, also as he gets older mobility will be less effective. OLine still needs a complete rehaul this offseason

We literally weren’t moving the ball whatsoever with or without those interceptions until the 4th quarter, they weren’t the difference

I think I mentioned during the game that it's strange because that seemed to be how they came out firing with the scripted plays but once Andy got off the script it was all middle and deep stuff.

The whole gameplan just seemed to get away from them very early in the game.

wtf do you want Patrick to do? He was pressured on 47% of his dropbacks and 3 of his other passes were quick hitters. He was hit on that 2nd INT.

Did I mention we had zero running game at all? Not to mention that horrific drop by Hopkins at the end of the first half that would have given us a FG at least he was so open.

What QB is doing anything in these circumstances?

I believe Kelce had two drops. His day was not any help at all.

A pass rush is not an excuse for an INT on your own 20. It's not. You just don't do that. He didn't do that all year long. He was smart with the ball all year.

Today he took risks and held the ball too long. Punt if you have to punt. You don't hand the opponent the ball 3 times on your side of the field.

Pat had a day like this vs. the Broncos. He admitted to it. It was his fault. This one is as well.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

It’s Reid’s job to plan for that contingency in the game plan. If they are biting so hard on the short stuff, dial up some deep plays on roll outs, where Patrick is clearly comfortable.

He won by staying in the pocket the last two Super Bowls and won an MVP by staying in the pocket in 2022.

Really no different than the regular season. Outside of Worthy this team lacks team speed. Fix the tackle position and they need to add speed at RB and WR and hope our young TE's can sort of replace Kelce.

It sure didn't seem like Andy did much to help. I'm an asshole on the couch and I'll never really know but it sure didn't appear like the coaching did anything to help a struggling Pat.

The way that team is built it works too. Mahomes took almost every sack doing the same thing - trying to climb the pocket and ending up getting smashed in the middle. Usually that works for him so I get that his instinct is to try that but it is what it is. They executed better in the trenches and Mahomes made mistakes because of that.

Defense played well enough to win but giving up 17 points with turnovers deep in your own territory is the difference in the game. The momentum really never swung away from the Eagles and they deserve credit for a lot of that - they were the better team today.
