Took her to get spayed, and after being home a couple of days, her stitches developed an infection. It was looking pretty bad. I took her to this hippie vet yesterday and she put honey on the infection.Honey is supposed to kill the bacteria and provide nutrients I guess. I got really good hippie vibes from this vet though. The jungle cat is not shy by any means, but she loved this vet, sat on her lap for like 10 min and didn't even try to get down.

Well, I used to have my very own Rancor monster.
However, some douchehole named Luke came in and killed it. I was sad. |

This is my English Cocker, Cooper. He's a bit of a knucklehead (was a rescue) but has turned out to be a great dog once we got the walking thing down (i.e., no pull harness).

Fleas!
She probably picked them up rolling in some carrion while we were out fishing but she’s got them now and I can’t get rid of them. Got her on Sentinel, didn’t change anything. Put some Front Line on her, same thing. I’m starting to think I’m just going to have to give her a flea dip to get rid of them.

Tell this dog to quit being a pussy and it won't get humped at the dog park all the time...

My folks just sent me this picture of their 1-year old German Shepherd. He's such a fun dog... REALLY smart and incredibly loyal.
My mom had foot surgery recently and was limping around with a large boot. The dog could SENSE that she was in pain and would sit right next to her with his head on her lap whimpering. He's usually rambunctious and goofy, but he was a gentle giant around her when she was recovering from her surgery. Anyway, here's Augie enjoying the recent snowfall from the past couple days. |

We had to put our 7 yr. old jungle cat down due to urinary issues. It's been a long day with the girls. It was my wife's cat & we always joke that she's an animal whisperer since the cat(s) & dog love her so much. She's having a hard time.
He was pretty cool. He'd ride around on my lap & would only get down when I stopped. The dog would shed more than he did. RIP Hemi.
