I've not seen too much made of the missed field goal attempt when the announcers talked about Reid being offsides, but I have seen some bitching about it. I watched it frame-by-frame and Reid didn't cross the line until after the ball was moving.

If you look at viewership numbers, it's the opposite. It's very good for business. It also helps lead the narrative of favoring the Chiefs.

And the fact that the NFL ordered the evidence destroyed before it could be examined in depth.

He leans forward to watch the ball like a sprinter and takes off when he sees movement. He reminds a bit of Albert Lewis, who was absolutely lethal in getting of the line. Lewis was very fast, but their techniques are similar.

Was at the game so haven't seen the broadcast. Sounds like I'll need to turn it on this morning to drink in the hate.

The first penalty absolutely looked like a penalty. The 2nd one not so much. And I didn't see any flopping from mahomes on either one of those (the sideline one he absolutely flopped and I didn't like that). The worst part about the 2nd call is that it gave us 15 yards yes, but it would have been 2nd down and 6. Not a game changing penalty. I don't think it affects the drive at all.

Imagine a world in which a chiefs player, on the OPENING FREAKING PLAY, throws his helmet off, and then when confronted by Dave Toub, shoves his special teams coach back towards the sideline.

Lost all respect for Demeco Ryans and that Texans team after their comments.
