QB slide play was ridiculous. You had two defenders head hunting and going helmet-to-helmet and they wound up taking themselvs and pat mahomes out at the same time. Dirty crybaby team infested with a loser mentality. And it's funny how people just forget that Tim Settle threatened Mahomes and then goes out and gets his ass kicked, posterized and immortalized on a Mahomes TD. Texans aren't even worth discussing. Honestly, I was surprised Mixon didn't have 100+ yards, seemed like he was running all over the Chiefs...which I think he was early on.

I gotta give props to the Strouds though. They did play a pretty good offensive game, just couldn't get points. They outgained the Chiefs and had an epic drive in the 3rd quarter that took up damn near the entire quarter. BUT...

...this Chiefs get all the calls crap is to be expected. The only one I thought was iffy was the 2nd unnecessary roughness call. And as I recall that was on 1st down, so yes, it gave the Chiefs a free first down with 15 yards. But it WAS helmet to helmet. That shit gets called. Deal with it.

The Texans are a good team, better than I thought. They came into playoff Arrowhead and dueled the Chiefs well. But the Chiefs made more plays and got one iffy roughing call. Down the stretch, the Houston offense was neutered.

This is what it is to have a great team. They all hate you. They all want you to lose. And when you don't, they make ref excuses. Buckle in for this shit for the rest of Mahomes' career fellas.

Controversial plays happen all the time, and any time they happen for the chiefs everyone piles on.

The helmet to helmet was soft , but it was definitely crown of the helmet to the face as on Mahomes. As was said earlier, they unfortunately piled on from the angle that was from behind, and failed to acknowledge from the side view that there was in fact helmet to helmet contact

Not sure about the “flop” video. Mahomes didn’t even whine, just sprinted to the sideline. Who knows what actually happened

The “slide” was a tough call and I would probably be frustrated if the jerseys were changed. It definitely looks like they were trying to lead with the helmet, but there really was so little contact and the slide, or whatever it was, was late.
Ironically, the player that really lead with his helmet and had an opportunity to pull up blasted his own player. I don’t think he even touched Mahomes.

I think the idea that Mahomes whines more than any other QB is absolutely false, and Mahomes takes hard hits frequently. I think there are videos devoted to it.
