Frankly, I’m not sure it’s going to matter much. Seems like Buffalo is on a collision course with Baltimore whether they’re the 1 or 2. And Baltimore will likely pimp slap them again. |

Just need Baltimore to win or Pittsburgh to lose the final regular season game, which forces Baltimore & Buffalo to play each other in the divisional round.

most ideal scenario is the steelers get the 5 seed giving us essentially a guaranteed duck in the divisional round. Let the bills or ravens deal with the chargers or the bengals if they sneak in

There is a less than zero chance the Ravens, on 10 days rest, don't beat a Browns team going on vacation right after the game.

If Pittsburgh beats the Bengals, and everything else plays out as expected, the path couldn’t be any better. Divisional round layup vs the Steelers or Texans, and only one of Ravens/Bills/Chargers.
Feels like a Baltimore/KC rematch is in the cards. Mahomes owns Lamar, but I think they’ve got the best shot of any team from either conference to prevent the threepeat. |

Buffalo could sit starters now. Do they care about the 2 and keeping it away from Balt? Maybe.

The main reason to fight tooth and nail for the two seed is if somehow, someway the Chiefs get upset, of course you want the AFCCG at home.

The AFC isn’t all that intriguing from here. The last wildcard could get interesting, but the Division Champs are mostly set. Pittsburgh would need a miracle to take the North, so I’ll write them off.
The NFC looks crazy though. No one has clinched their division yet. Based on remaining schedule, I think Tampa takes the South. Rams just need to beat Arizona to clinch, but they’ll play Seattle for the Division in Week 18 if they lose. Eagles likely take the East. The North is loaded. If the Vikings beat the Packers (big if) this week, then the Vikings and Lions likely play for the 1 seed and Division in Week 18. Eagles could have a brutal road to the Super Bowl as the 2 seed. It may be Washington, Minnesota, and either Green Bay or Detroit as their path. That’s tough.

We should all be rooting for the Vikings this week assuming the Lions beat the 49ers. That sets up the Vikings vs Lions in the final week to determine the one seed with the loser getting the five seed. A huge swing that would be a great game to watch.

I think I would bet my house if it was Mahomes vs Darnold for the Super Bowl
