The 2nd roughing penalty isn't even worth discussing, it was 1st and 10 if that doesn't get called its 2nd and 8.. like what evidence is there that changed anything on that drive?!

Mahomes slid and did not get any contact that warranted a call. That’s simple fact and the NFL with all these rule changes and “reviewing calls” needs to get this fixed.

Mahomes also did the gayest flop I’ve ever seen when being pushed out of bounds trying to catch another unnecessary roughness call.

I literally will stand by this 100%. I think everyone here is bitching and crying about these calls because deep down they know these calls saved our season and our team played like shit today. So to warrant the win, we need to dismiss these calls like they weren’t worth a damn, to feel better about this win. This win sucked. This team needs to wake up next week.
I think that you think too much about what others think, and have real issues with anyone who doesn't see things the same way that you do.

They don't like the roughing calls. Ok, that's fine, I get it but that's not why they lost. They lost because KC defense shut down and they couldn't get tds. Sacked CJ 8 times.

I am enjoying tasting their tears and remembering those days in 1986 with my dad when 10K fans in the stands before the 90's when we couldn't field a good defense and offense at the same time.
'86 at the 'Head!!! I was there!!! lolz. Good times, good times. No so much the Chiefs but the peeps I was with in those days. Damn, I'm old.

I agree. If the NFL wanted to build a dynasty, the last place they'd pick was KC. Maybe Jax would be behind us but no one else. But then, the 3rd largest media market in the country, Chicago, could've had Mahomes and we'd all hate the Bears. Although, let's be honest, the Bears would've screwed up Mahomes. KC and Mahomes was the perfect storm. We got no beaches. We got no mountains. It gets too damn hot here in the summer and too damn cold here in the winter. Nobody dreams of retiring to KC. But we got Mahomes. Suck it, bitches.

They will not accept reality. It's a refusal of the reality of KC winning another super bowl - the outrage over these penalties is just a symptom.

And I love it. I'm addicted - I can't get enough. I keep recycling tears and the salt and then turning to another youtube comment to rub it in another gaping wound and....there's just not enough. There's not enough to go around. There's too many gashes....

Aikman initially didn’t like the first roughing call, fine. But if he would have just acknowledged his initial mistake when seeing the sideline view showing it was an obvious penalty then the uproar would be way reduced. But he clearly wants the Chiefs to lose because he is probably still upset about the comment he made (tell me when Mahomes has three) when people started saying Mahomes was better.

Soak in every minute. Roll around in it like a dog in fresh shit.

This is our time and this moment is for us. Smile. Understand that this is what we've waited for and it's even better than our wildest expectations. It's better than we ever thought it would be...

I thought the unnecessary roughness was called because of intent; while the result of the play was minor, it had the appearance of a targeting play by the defense. Lowering your head and diving at a player who is giving himself up.

The flop looked bad however we don't know if there was something in front of Mahomes that he was trying to avoid, the contact threw him off balance or anything. Quarterbacks are being protected and since the Patriots/Broncos/etc. have shown us that winning at any cost is all that matters, why are people crying about someone acting? We pay good money to watch people act all the time.

If the refs are helping the Chiefs then why don't people simply start making money on all of this? If it's so apparent and blatant, use it to your advantage and bank it.

Yup, this. The only reason I’m a little annoyed is the critics spent all season creating a completely overblown narrative bitching about a lot of legit calls. For example claiming mahomes is soft even though he never gets any roughing calls. Yesterday on the biggest stage he finally got the Brady treatment. All in all maybe that’s refreshing but we didn’t need those penalties to win.

The talk around the “flop” is so stupid so don’t let anyone bait you into discussing it legitimately beyond a play that happens to multiple players a dozen times a game. It wasn’t unique and anyone that thinks it’s a sign we need a flopping penalty is again just looking to grab onto anything to hate the Chiefs.

It wasn’t even called a penalty but people are so broken I’m convinced they wish it was so they could complain even more, though they still find other ways to complain. Besides, you can say falling was too much but he was actually pushed. People act like he fell without any contact. It wasn’t a penalty because it was in bounds, not because there was no contact. If that pushed occurred a half yard out of bounds it’s an obvious penalty whether he falls or not.

He got ONE call in his favor. Thats not a Brady or anyone treatment. It’s a treatment anyone gets when a players head is between two other heads that just happen to miss, all occurring in a matter of a split second. Let’s not act like he got extra or special treatment.
