You are the dumbshit who in another thread is claiming that Cam Robinson is as bad as Wanya… an argument inconvenienced by the fact that Robinson is starting/thriving for Minnesota while Wanya was benched (in favor of a guy who hadn’t played football in a year and then a career LG). But keep humping the Wanya Morris Hype Train. |

Better get used to Thuney at LT as Humphries is out for Saturday. Thuney has pride and guts and I bet his play improves this Saturday.

A) Texas doesn't have anyone as truly terrifying as Garrett. They're a 'combined rush' team that gets good pressure by having several good players. Anderson is good - he ain't Garrett. Without someone as able to take advantage of his physical shortcomings, Thuney should be better. B) It's another game of experience. That said, I still don't think this is tenable even into the post-season. If you don't have Humphries back by Denver, I think you just roll with Morris. Thuney is only viable as a short-term replacement while Morris gets his knee right. Because Crow is right -- from Week 2 to about Week 11, Morris was better on balance than Thuney was on Sunday. And to further that point, Morris at his absolute worst (LV) didn't give up the 10 pressures that Thuney gave up. And Thuney didn't have to go against Garrett for 1/4 of that game. No - if you're banking on some significant improvement from the LT position saving the day, Thuney isn't where you're gonna get that, IMO. He's a stop gap.

He's damn good. But he's more Tamba Hali than Myles Garrett.
Garrett is a HoF player. Hunter is a Ring of Honor player. But yeah, he's the guy most likely to give Thuney fits, for sure. Looks like he's played almost twice as many snaps on the defensive left side (Taylor's side) than on the right, but they could move him around pretty easily. He's done both plenty.

So I understand letting Humphries out there for the next two games to his legs back under him, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Thuney back at LT in the playoffs. Dude is going down in history as one of the baddest mother ****ers on the planet.

I dont disagree. If all else fails, we know Thuney can give us adequate play at that position. But thats if all else fails. The ideal outcome is Humphries at LT and Thuney at LG, if it works. So try that first, and if it fails, then we go back to Thuney.

Except Humphries has to hold up, and actually be good. Its one thing to give guys chances during the regular reason, its another thing to hope for the best in the playoffs. The Chiefs are not going to **** around when the playoffs all around. Remember last year after Christmas all of our reeruned WRs were nowhere to be found. Its purposeful. DJ has to be good. He has a hell of a test in front of him. I'm hoping for the best, but the dude is coming back from injury and didn't make it an entire game.
