So it begins..Browns might take Trubisky 1st overall?

Adam Schefter

Just had an NFL exec tell me, "Don't be surprised if Myles Garrett isn't the No. 1 pick." Exec convinced a QB is in discussion at No. 1.

Trubisky, Watson and Mahomes will all be gone by pick 13.

Will they be compared fairly to the 2018 QBs that were available to draft in the 20s, or will they be compared to guy that goes at #5 overall that KC should have sold entire draft classes (including mortgaging a bunch of 2017 picks) to acquire?

Trading multiple first round picks, in multiple years isn't ever going to haooen. Too much young cost controlled talent to give up.

It doesn't matter, because the 2018 QB class is so strong. You can probably get a guy in the 20s in 2018 that is a better prospect than Mitch Trubisky and easily superior to Mahomes.

It's not even me saying that. People have had these guys tabbed as 2018 first rounders since the middle of 2016.

Meanwhile this time last year no one was talking about Mitch Trubisky and certanly not Failtrick Mahomes.

"The QB class in 2012 is so strong..."

Ryan Tannehill, Brandon Weeden, Brock Osweiler, and Nick Foles were the 1st and 2nd round QBs the Chiefs had a shot at through moving up or down.

Womp womp...

You'd better bank on Darnold coming out early then.

That wasn't a strong class and certainly wasn't being lauded in advance like 2018. Tannehill came out of nowhere to headline it.

By the way, you want the next Tannehill....Mitch Trubisky also has only one full year of experience....so there you go.

Did I miss where Trubisky was a converted WR?

And if he does, it's because he's going #1. So, I really don't understand the fascination with next years class. Mason Rudolph and Luke Falk are more of the same.

He's not, but in both cases it's a guy with one full year of experience starting at QB.

This is a terrible QB class. I'd rather pick Geno than any of these turds.

I'd rather bank on almost any scenario in 2018 when the alternative is Johnny Manziel lite.

Can't wait to hear all of the excuses next year about the QBs coming out. Barring a complete bed shitting performance by this team.....we aren't picking high enough for Darnold.
