Wish we were putting all our hopes and dreams into the possibility of getting a 39 years old QB that we’d have to pay AND trade for instead! |

Alright…how many posts is this one going to take? Will 5,000 get it done on such short notice?

You gonna tuck tail and run off again when KC finds a way to keep talent anyway?

As long as Lets Reach is allowed to waste cap space and/or draft picks on guys like Sammy Watkins, Frank Clark and possibly Orlando Brown the Chiefs don't worry me much. The Chiefs aren't that good. They're a top heavy team that's carried by Mahomes, his little fast guy, and his aging TE. Teams are catching up. The Manning and Brady void will be filled and the Mahomes show isn't going to be enough to get it done.

CaseOfDildos Joe, any idea what the significance of the number 2140 is??? I’ll give you a hint... it has something to do with how many days it’s been since your fraudulent team beat the owner of the division.... it’s (currently) only 3 games longer than your team’s longest win streak against KC. But the best part is.... Dungver has NEVER beat Mahomes, and Von is gonna retire without ever having beat him. Yikes. Better run to the Mange (lmao) and find a rebuttal.

Watkins is already gone, and Clark will be after this year as well. That frees up more cap space for us, and neither of those guys kept us from being aggressive every offseason regardless of what they were paid or what we gave up for them. And Orlando Brown? A 25 year old Pro Bowl LT that is only getting better to protect Mahomes? That’s a “waste of cap space”? We also got him for the equivalent of a 2nd round pick. How exactly was that a bad trade for us? There is a reason it has been called the best move of the offseason by some. Brett Veach is arguably the best in the business. He’s just like our QB. Aggressive and persistent. He attacks our needs every offseason. Your little nicknames for him and your new GM don’t mean shit in terms of reality. You were never really good at this, but you’ve become a caricature. |

Yeah, sustained success hardly ever follows the best quarterbacks in the league . The chiefs have proven to be able to consistently put great talent around Mahomes and yet that will stop? They also have him on a VERY team friendly contract - of which would already be nothing compared to the cap if not for the freak outbreak of covid.
The great nfl fallacy is that its easy to build a team and then acquire a quarterback good enough to take you to the superbowl. Denver are struck in that situation. |
