What strains of weed are you currently smoking?

Since we have a what are you drinking thread, I think we need a what strain are you smoking thread. Hope it's not a Q.

I'll start. I've got 2 kinds currently 1) Cherry Berry, which is a cross between Berry White and Cherry Kush 2) some fire ass Blue Dream. Hard to pick which I like better but leaning towards Cherry Berry. All the Berry White strains I've had are funk!!

Because first we had to convince the population.
And if You (Royal) don't know what a journey that has been, just read this thread.

Get yourself a good dab/wax pen (link) and vape live rosin (not live resin, there's a big difference).

No cartridges containing God knows what, no solvents/chemicals, no smoke in your lungs from unneeded plant material - just pure, unadulterated, gooey goodness. They use a heat press and literally just squeeze the "sap" out of bubble hash/ice water hash made directly from the plant. Find the right shop and you can get it for less than $30/gram. The taste and effectiveness are unmatched.

I recommend the 14er dispensary in the Denver/Boulder area (link) and Hana Dispensary in Phoenix metro (link). Prices are higher at Hana, but they do BOGO deals each week that get you down to the $25-$40/gram price range.

"Live Rosin is pressed from our fresh, frozen Ice Water Hash, further filtering away any unwanted plant material. This highly resinous concentrate was crafted without the use of solvents, making it the purest expression of any given cultivar. At 14er, we cold cure our Live Rosin to create a creamy, shelf-stable product that is cherished by both connoisseurs or anyone looking for a delectable dabbing experience. It’s quite literally the cream of the crop."

I never passed out, but I did get tunnel vision a few times back in the day when I still used a 2' bong. I was always worried that I would give myself an aneurysm if I kept doing that. I made a conscious effort to learn what my limits are, so I never have the big coughing spells anymore.

Fundamentalist. That's what you're looking for.

That's my upbringing. I grew up in an Anabaptist-oriented church (for the sake of clarity, Anabaptist theology is embraced by people like the Amish) and my family was pretty strict about it. We weren't Amish by any means but still, the strictness - the Old Testament way of thinking - was prevalent in the church.

It often takes a long time for those people to soften and actually live their Christianity (you know, the whole love and hope thing). And even then, it often takes some kind of "seismic shift" in thinking before it happens. For my family member, it was the fact that their "I'll only do it if it's legal" eventually led to opioid dependency, which most Christians would also condemn. At that point, the paradox becomes real and that family member had to reevaluate what they thought about right and wrong. That led to them accepting "alternative medicine" and eventually, to them finally finding pain relief in cannabis.

And yes, there are plenty of conservative Christians out there that feel that weed is just flat out immoral and they'll probably never change. The sad thing is that here, in this state, they're voting in people who they THINK are like-minded but in the end, they're just being used to stimulate more corporate welfare. Our medical program is essentially a monopoly for one company that has huge ties to the people in charge at the capital.

I vape as well. In terms of effects on the lungs, there's no comparison (I was also a long-time cigarette smoker who switched to vaping).

It will usually happen to all of us at least once.

Seen many tourists get right of the plane in Schipol, hit a coffee shop getting into Amsterdam then proceed to hit the floor.

Dutch will just prop your ass up back on your luggage and shove a coca-cola down your throat.

Do you feel you missed out on some experiences growing up that some of your peers had while being raised in a less strict home?

I was not raised in a strict home at all. We were for the most part allowed to roam where ever we wanted, do what we wanted. Just bring your ass home and do your chores.
