Nobody here is scared of not getting the one seed. Acknowledging the fact that it will be easier to win it all with one less playoff game is not fear. It's practical.

The fear is that somehow Mahomes is definitely going to miss the playoffs if he plays.

Yup! If he plays and injures it again he'll have three weeks to heal before we play a playoff game but right now we need to do all we can to beat Houston this week at Arrowhead. If we lose this week we have no room for error the next two weeks to get HFA. This is the biggest game to date for the 2024 season.

Vegas doesn't think so right now and they aren't exactly in the business of losing money.

My expectation is that Wentz will be the starting QB, which is the only prudent choice for this organization given that their entire season hinges on Mahomes being healthy a month from now.

If Humphries and Brown are going to come in and actually contribute to a Super Bowl run, they need reps.

If they aren't, then the personnel isn't changing. No amount of rest is going to fix it if that's the case.

The only worry right now I'm a his ankle. And it's not severe.

He can have a rest with the rest of the team after they see up the #1 seed.
