Looks like a bad day to be on the water if you ask me
But you made it pay off with a decent little crappie fry |

the one under it is down imaging which is seeing exactly as the one on top of it just in more detail The big one on right is side imaging and it basically shoots a beam from both sides in a cone shape, its narrow at the boat thats why you see the black to the right and left then it widens as it goes towards the bank and sends detailed info back on structure... 99% of fresh water fishing is structure, fish like to hide and ambush prey from this... Most newer units come with traditional and down imaging... the side imaging is what raises the price alot but it's getting cheaper too... These three tools will put you on the fish but finding them and catching them are two different things |

You should take those crappie and use them to bait big cats. Cats absolutely love crappie , cut them in half and bait up.

Pretty sure I'm gonna need to play game warden with R8R and bust out the tape measure on one of those, though... do you have your fishing license on you, Mr R8R? |

Yea the smallest was 9 1/2 ... They used to have an 8 inch minimum on that lake but it produced too fast and they have too many smaller fish... They want you to take the small ones out... They eat good as long as you are good with the electric knife

Found this site and I'm going to start working some fishing around peak lunar days to see how much the lunar influence affects fishing. Type in your zipcode to get your specific location. In the upper left hand corner "Location"
https://www.usprimetimes.com/solunargraph.html Looks like some really good fishing coming up Dec 22nd/23rd |
