It’s hilarious because five years ago, everybody loved the Chiefs and the whole country was backing us to dethrone the Patriots.

I have a difficult time believing there are that many stupid/lazy people hopping aboard the same thoughtless train.

What happened to taking responsibility for losing?

Do the roughing the passer rules still apply when the QB passes the line of scrimmage and if they don’t slide?

Did Pat slide on the second penalty? God damn 4-year old made it hard to watch the game.

The commentators were completely ****ing awful. The RTP penalty where they kept showing the replay from behind and Joe/Troy kept saying they couldn't see anything that would warrant a penalty from this angle and then you see the angle from the side where he's putting his head into the facemask and they start to say it wasn't a hit to the head. If the ****ing guy doesn't want a penalty, then all he has to do is reach out with his arms and shove Mahomes, but no he had to drop his head and ram it into the facemask. That takes intent and they knew what they were doing.

Then you have the unsportsmanlike conduct play and you get the idiots in the booth saying the hit wasn't hard enough to Mahomes, but you can watch each one of those defenders helmets move and they are clearly trying to drive their helmets into Mahomes' helmet, but luckily he only got a glancing blow.

It's insane.
100% totally agree, my thoughts exactly. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were both obviously rooting for the Texans and have jumped on the Chiefs refs narrative. Take your loss like a fckn man.

No. He kind of gave himself up but he was a runner who was tentatively looking for extra yards and ducked when he couldn’t go any further. I have a million calls I’m pissed mahomes didn’t get the call. I felt like today they gave him two calls that felt a little ticky tack

detroit radio guy: "earlier today the chiefs beat houston 24-13. you know, i'm starting to believe something here. i'm starting to understand it's not all about the stats. all things considered, KC hasn't been that dominate statistically, and yet here we are done for the year, and they're headed to another championship game. the chiefs point differential in the regular season was 59. we practicality beat a team by 59 in one of our games this year, but none of that means anything now. it's like they're just toying with their opposition."

No matter who is carrying the ball, if they slide and give themselves up, they get the same protection. It doesn't matter that Mahomes was essentially a RB on that play, he gave himself up by sliding. The defenders saw him slide and aimed themselves DOWN so as to hit him. They saw him slide and went after him anyway. They 100% deserved that penalty.

Anyone who claims the games are rigged for the Chiefs, they are simply a total ****ing moron. The numbers don't support it. The announcers bitch about it and they are mouthpieces for the league. Refs **** shit up constantly and it's only remembered if it matters. The Chiefs play the most games that matter because they win.

More than that, if you really think the league is rigging the games to benefit a certain team, stop ****ing watching. It's insane. It's pro wrestling or it's not. Thinking something is rigged then bitching about the rigging is so ****ing stupid.

I was casually reading along in realtime on the Bills site...every penalty...and I mean EVERY penalty was immediately labeled as the refs helping KC.

Even when the replay clearly showed it was a legit call...

Every team now has a built in excuse when they lose...never mind that Mahomes is the greatest QB in history. ..it's the refs. Cant be that their team wasn't good enough.

They do this while simultaneously ignoring when their team gets a beneficial call...did they forget that KC had several TDs taken away in the post-season last year. The only team it happened to. That they called back-to-back holding calls in the AFCCG Ravens game...when the Chiefs were about to go up three scores before half.

Even Ravens fans were saying it was a bail-out....

Did they ignore the non-DPI call at the end of the Packers game...when the guy hit the WR almost a full second before the ball got there? It cost KC the game...one of the worst no-calls I've ever seen.

Everything I just mentioned is forgotten...because it HAS to be forgotten in order to have something to balme.

The commentators always gravitate to the underdog in almost every game, especially the playoffs. It’s to hype up the game for the viewers… it’s the same reason why they try to keep fans engaged for the losing team when down 2 scores with 3-4 mins left.

The saltiness here is baffling to me. We are the patriots of the 2020’s and why people still get salty over this type of shit still makes me laugh.
