We've broken the brains of 31 other fan bases. It's insane.

The commentators were completely ****ing awful. The RTP penalty where they kept showing the replay from behind and Joe/Troy kept saying they couldn't see anything that would warrant a penalty from this angle and then you see the angle from the side where he's putting his head into the facemask and they start to say it wasn't a hit to the head. If the ****ing guy doesn't want a penalty, then all he has to do is reach out with his arms and shove Mahomes, but no he had to drop his head and ram it into the facemask. That takes intent and they knew what they were doing.

Then you have the unsportsmanlike conduct play and you get the idiots in the booth saying the hit wasn't hard enough to Mahomes, but you can watch each one of those defenders helmets move and they are clearly trying to drive their helmets into Mahomes' helmet, but luckily he only got a glancing blow.

It's insane.

This. It’s easy to blame the refs while overlooking the real reasons for the loss.

Wasn’t Schultz blocking downfield before the ball was thrown? Maybe I’m thinking of another play but I thought it was OPI.

Somebody is going to have to explain the mindset of the conspiracy nutjob set. It's ALWAYS the refs and it's ALWAYS a lazy suggestion.

When did people become so incapable of accepting the fact that someone else may have legitimately won/beat them/their team?

On a related note, when did everyone become lazy to the extent of simply claiming "refs" every time the Chiefs win? Yeah, it's dishonest, but it's the laziness that makes it that much more pathetic.

Go check out the Chiefs game thread on the donx board (or literally anywhere else on the internet) for examples.

Dang you're making it sound like the Chiefs just beat them in a game of football or something crazy like that.

So many believe that the refs screw the team their rooting for and when the Chiefs are dominating the league, the majority of the country is rooting against the Chiefs. Therefore, they believe the refs are screwing the team they're rooting for and favoring the Chiefs.
