Seeing as Bearcat banned me from the KU basketball thread for daring to use statistics to dispel the constant trashing of the team’s best player this year by far, I’ll need somewhere to put my thoughts for this year’s tournament.

In sum, the committee screwed KU again. Their resume (and wins) should have had them at at least a 6 seed and maybe even a 5. Arkansas is also the toughest matchup they could have had among possible opponents and KU matches up horribly against them (stay tuned as to why).

As far as the rest of the tournament goes, I’m picking Houston to win it all and Kentucky (fraud) to lose in the first or second round.

True. Shit just describes my mood now. To see so much potential and want them to play to it...against a really bad team. I have a tendency to overreact a bit but i'm glad Pope finally got that first tourney win.

First half they were playing very loose. Looked much better after.

Finish at the rim and cut out dumb turnovers and this team can go places.

I said before and during the season that to meet expectations they need to win 1 game in the tournament. They’ve done that.

Everything else is house money.
