I thought all the Outbacks has shut down. Maybe just the KC market.

There are 3 the last I knew in Tulsa. They have pretty good specials, but you have to go to the correct one(s).

It was nice as **** all weekend, so rather than do shit I should do, I procrastinated all that noise and cooked a bunch of food.
Saturday for lunch, Wife bought some good bread and some sandwich meat. I'm not the best sandwich assembler but I was happy. Wife found some really good Prosciutto that made the thing work. For supper I stole KCUnited's over the top chili concept and tried tacos. Rather than browning the beef and putting the seasoning in and simmer, I cooked the ground beef on the smoker and then shredded it up, then seasoning, then simmer. That part worked OK. I was trying to make a type of roasted pico thing. That was an abject failure. I didn't seed the jalepenos and I should have. It was hot as the surface of the sun. Overpowered everything else. I obviously suck at assembling tacos, but without the veg, it was a success. Today, I cooked the knockoff Chipotle Chicken tacos I've posted on here before. They're really good. Every time. Still can't make a taco look good, but they're good. BTW, Didn't miss the Chiefs game to make this. Set up a tablet on a bucket and watched us get the Browns. Tonight I did chuck roast burnt ends, roasted broccoli and roasted taters. Buehler445 is fat and happy. |
