Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Looking more and more like we took the best prospect. I think we did and don't understand the Watson national love nor the Trubinsky love.

Skill wise Mahomes is better.

Schraeger on GMF was questioning why everyone in the media was flaming the Bears for trading up for Trubisky but not doing the same for the Chiefs. Kept using the bullshit line of "they were only two games away from holding up the trophy". One of the other guys said that they aren't getting flamed for it because the Chiefs have a legitimate front office, coaching staff and team around him. The Bears don't have any of that.

Yeah some of the national media can't get over that Mahomes went before the golden boy Watson.

4 years from now, Pat Mahomes will be the best quarterback in the whole league.

When your team drafts a QB with the 2nd pick and the coach doesn't even know about it you deserve to get flamed.

The Bears were so stupid for hiring Pace over Ballard and it's setting them back years.

What's worse is the Bears knew Ballard was a great scout and they still passed on him for their current GM who is horrible.

It doesn't change much but I noticed it that showed the Bears had traded, on top of their 3rd overall pick, their 2018 1st round pick plus their 3rd and 4th this year but it is a 2018 3rd round pick really not a 1st round pick.

There are reasons that Watson is the "golden boy". He won a title and played well doing it. He beat several highly-ranked teams. He made big throws in big games. He did everything one would want a QB to do.

I prefer Mahomes and think he'll be the better of the two, but let's not pretend that Watson didn't do anything to earn his respect.
