Wow Marshall OL Ethan Driskell sounds like a giant, just needs more work
A two-year starter at left tackle for the Thundering Herd, Driskell is listed at a towering 6-foot-9 and 329 pounds. The size is exciting, but he allowed seven sacks over the past two seasons. Definitely a work in progress. |

A four-year player at Penn State, Jacobs recorded 171 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, and 9.5 sacks during his career. He's a really impressive athlete and should be an instant contributor on special teams. Lovett had a private workout with the Chiefs ahead of the 2024 NFL draft. The 24-year-old is listed at 6-foot-4 and 318 pounds with 35.5-inch arms. He's a disruptive presence in the middle of the line and is great at the stack-and-attack method.

He won’t report to camp until his feud with Drew McIntyre is done though.

Thought the same but it'll need them to finally recognise Nnadi is a waste of space. Jacobs is going to be a better athlete than guys like Cam Jones, but he'll need to get better at recognising plays. Two very good pick ups, I hope they stick.

Another great white hype at HB.
He's got the spirit of Alstott but not the size. He's too lean and will likely break himself like Pacheco is trying to do. Another 10 pounds or so would help because he just doesn't have the mass to blow through tackles like most physical backs. https://youtube.com/shorts/59XAXrJa3...xrGqsH-VYlp4Qj

I think the plan is for him to add muscle and be our fullback and maybe short yardage back and I’m really excited about that. We’ve really struggled in short yardage situations and I’m also excited about a real full back rather than an H back. I’ve always thought that Andy could really be creative with a Kyle jusczcyk or Kimble Anders, from back in the day, type of weapon. With this deep speed at wr,, a full back that can catch the ball and be athletic after the catch could be valuable.

It's interesting that he went undrafted but it's interesting more because it tells me that NFL teams are getting a bit smarter.
I mean there are LOADS of guys that come out looking like Jacobs every year and just don't do a whole lot. Look at a guy like Malik Jefferson, for instance. Very similar measurables, seemingly a great prospect. Had a fantastic college career and looked every bit like an NFL player. Went in the 3rd round. Has never done a thing in the league. Been on 7 teams and can't stick anywhere. This year's version of Jefferson was probably Jaylan Ford. And Ford went in the 5th - previous years you know he goes higher than that. Tommy Eichenberg went in the 5th. Is Jacobs any better or worse a prospect than Eichenberg? No, not to my eyes. So by that argument he should've been a 3rd day pick. But do I think either of them are likely to be starting NFL players? Nah. And with no stand-out skills (which is what a lot of teams will look for on the 3rd day; a real strong skill with the hopes they can either use that skill or coach up around it), it's not shocking either. Odds are he's going to be similar to someone like Cameron Smith who had a nice set of solid measurables but nothing that was truly exceptional. And guys like that just aren't that hard to find.

I think he moves into the Cam Jones ST role, while Jones gets some reps with the defense with Gay gone.
