Stupid, Stupid, Stupid !!!!!

A woman I met when I was selling cars at Nissan who I kinda made friends with practically moved herself in with me, by saying "I may have to use your spare bedroom for a while", well I felt sorry for her and let her.

She has been at my house for one week and its driving me nuts, for one she only has a part time job and I told her you need to start looking for a better job so you can start saving money.

If I was in this position I would be pounding the pavement everyday looking for something and start looking to move, but she hasn't. Now I don't know what to do. I mention something everyday about her needing to find a better job and how after she starts to work she should be able to save in a month or so to move.

She even acts like she has the time to be particular about where she moves.
Damn I don't know what to do cause I keep feeling that I am supporting her I beleive we may not be friends much longer, it may end badly.


What should I do and how should I go about doing it?

If I knew you and I ran into you while hanging out with someone. As soon as you were gone I would say, "That is the chick I was telling you about, you know the one that had an acquaintance move themselves into her house and she was too spineless to even ask them leave."

If only for self respect, take control of this situation.

Well at this point it really doesn't matter anyway because she has probably been there long enough to have legally established residency and it's not going to be up to you when she leaves, the only way you'll be able to 'get rid' of her is to move.

No I am just hoping it doesn't have to end in a all out war, but as I told my daughter, its like a storm brewing and it isn't going to be much longer till I just hit the roof. I don't want it to come to that but it may have to.

Just sit down with her and have a date marked on the calendar. Tell her you were more than glad to help her out but on this date (point to date marked) you have to be out, and that you'll do whatever you can to help her out in that regard. End of conversation.

Well if I threw her shit in the yard and MY landlord told her he wanted her off his premises, then I am sure she would leave. She has no proof how long she has been there. She has been buying groceries cause I won't buy anything, if she wants to eat she can buy it.

I beleive my date will be Feb. 1st cause she has been there 2 months already and if someone hasn't done anything to help themselves in that length of time, they are not planning on it.

It may take till Feb 1st for you to work up the courage to ask her to move. Lets take this one step at a time.

Well its winter and she has no place else to go, I know that shouldn't be my problem, but I would like to know when she leaves she has a place to sleep.

She does have a place to sleep - anywhere not at your house.
