I'm hijacking the thread starter to use for an "updates" area. Sorry cardken. Here are a few recent updates:

Agree. I told my wife Fisher lost the game when he kicked the FG instead of going for it. Not read the other thread but maybe the refs gave it to them by not calling the delay penalty??? Would've been nice for the Ravens people to be free for talks. But, who knows ... Clark may have talked to them when he had the opportunity.

Is it a slam-dunk no-way-in-heck-he-won't-do-it that (if hired) Pioli (a) fires Herm and (b) drafts a QB with the #3 overall?

I mean, Pioli drafted Tom Brady in the 6th round, didn't he? That's one round higher than Thigpen.

Either Stafford or Bradford will be there. Some chance that Sanchez will be there. My issue is how do you not take Orakpo or Curry or ______________ when you have the NFL's worst _efense and set a league record for fewest sacks?

Never reach when the BPA is something else especially a QB.( That's outside of Stafford's reported connections)

It's about availability, draft position, and need. If you're picking 3rd in the first round, and there is a question of sure/unsure in your QB Roster, and there are good rookie QB's who are considered to be of high value and long term output to be had; you take one.

By that logic (and I am not questioning it) either Stafford, Bradford or Sanchez will be in camp this summer.

On this thread, a survey of mock drafts had just 45% of 'experts' projecting that KC picks a QB with its first round selection.
