Pioli will add instant credibility to the Chiefs organization. Something it has been lacking seriously. This will make us a lot more attractive to free agents. I think that will be the biggest instant effect of a Pioli hire.

Actually, it's very possible a new GM isn't announced until after the Super Bowl, especially if two of Clark's candidates currently work for the teams that are playing in it.

What IS bullshit, is that if an offer was made to Pioli, (which I seriously doubt) Clark wouldn't be giving him a month to decide.
