Andy Reid is going to get one of these lengthy, proven experienced vets.
Honestly I’d bet the deal is already shook on, whoever it is. We all know that’s what the combine is for. |

Can we PLEASE stop with the Ronnie Stanley talk?
Even if Baltimore lets him walk, we're not getting in a bidding war for an oft-injured 30 year old LT with a team that has $125M in cap space. |

I wish Becton wasn't such a brokedick. If he could stay healthy, and with our coaching staff, I think he could play LT again and do it well.

After this Thuney trade, there's nobody on Earth that will convince me they don't already have a handshake deal with someone. You simply don't make this move otherwise.

Ok. With the Thuney trade a done deal, let's hammer this out.
- We (most likely) will not be drafting a left tackle who is expected to start for us this season in this draft. - I think all signs point to Kingsley sliding in at LG, because Caliendo isn't a viable option there (not a viable option to be on this team, really). If not Kingsley, then who? Nourzad? CJ Hanson? - Which means we need a vet at LT to cover a green LG. "Viable" free agent options 1) Donovan Smith 2) Ronnie Stanley 3) Cam Robinson 4) DJ Humphries 5) Tyron Smith all of which have questions associated with them - Blockbuster trade for a plug and play LT. This hasn't been Veach's M.O., but it's still an option. All of this looks sort of bleak. Of those options listed, the best appears to be Cam Robinson or a trade if they could find someone willing to give up a stud LT (spoiler: they won't, especially not at what it would cost in both salary and compensation). I would assume they're holding out hope that DJ Humphries can show he's healed up and can regain his Pro Bowl form, or maybe that Donovan Smith really is 100% and ready to go. But outside of either of those two guys overcoming the odds, what does that leave us? A rookie LT or a vet with questions. I think Cam is going to be the call, minus some wild wheeling and dealing we didn't see coming. |

So sorry cooter, still hoping for Stanley. He had a 92% pass-block win rate last year & stayed healthy. He won’t be cheap, especially if the Ravens try to keep him. Seems like the best blind-side protection available right now. It’s worth a little more to keep 15 upright.

To be fair, I suppose they could give Kingsley another shot at LT if they feel like he has the chops and then draft a guard at 31, but are they going to protect Mahomes' left side with a rookie and second year player? I don't think Mahomes himself would be real keen on that idea.

Cam Robinson seems likely with Thuney being traded. I wanted Jaylon Moore, but that was with the assumption of Thuney at LG.
If Kingsley is LG, then they need experience next to him. Stanley is also possible. If they sign a high dollar LT, then they won’t be drafting OL early unless someone really surprising falls. I still like Logan Brown if he falls past the 3rd as a developmental guy. Could well be a starter after Taylor is gone.

Stanley has only made it through one full season without injuries in his nine year career… no thanks.

Kingsley at LG, Humphries at LT. Set up with a 250/300 pound dude that's a good blocker in backfield. Draft best WR at 31. 3 WR and TE set. Pat doesn't have time to look for more receivers than those 4. Just a thought albeit a crazy one. :-)
