Let's Talk About the Eagles (Super Bowl 59 Discussion)

We're headed back to the Ship and will try to be the first team to 3-peat in Super Bowl history!!! Chiefs open up as 1.5 favorites over the Eagles.

Discuss.

10 pt win. Last week looked close because somehow the Bills recovered 3 forced fumbles and 5 in total. As well as KC defenders dropping two easy INT's.

I think with our guys now having 3 years in this system with Spags he ruins Hurts. Takes this game over.
The Eagles are a beat up team with a quarterback who can't move very well.

They are standing on the train tracks of history.

Okay I feel way better about this game. I didn’t watch the Packers game until just now on condensed mode.

My God what a disaster. Opening kickoff fumble by the Packers lead to the the Eagles only TD on great field position. Packers missed a FG. Love threw 3 INT’s including one where he threw it right at Baun . They fumbled 3X and barely recovered 2 of the 3.

So the Packers had 4 turnovers and a missed FG and it was still only 16-10 in the middle of the 4th quarter.

They barely beat a disastrous Packers team playing perfectly, beat a Rams team due to the snow and then beat an overachieving team that had a rookie QB and horrific tackling.

We are the better team here

I’ve said it for the last week.

Replicate Green Bay’s defensive effort and win.

Eagles offense is playing with confidence after the 55 point shellacking. Chiefs likely won’t get the Philly O that squeaked past GB. Hope the D line ****s them up.

Ohh they are? You've seen them play since?

They put 55 on a bad defense after getting 4 turnovers. It doesn't mean anything about how their offense will play in the SB.

You're the ****ing worst dude.

I do think this team is better than the last Eagles, probably the best we've faced, and it'll be very close. But, they have to play us, turns out we're pretty good.
The better coach and quarterback almost always wins these games. We have top 2 all time at both. I don’t see a HOF trajectory for Sirianni or Hurts.

You think that’s crazy? I saw a stat earlier that showed Pat is 4-0 against the number one defense in the playoffs. Brady is 2-1. It blows my mind that out of 45 playoff games for Brady, he only faced the number one D 3 times. Mahomes at 20 playoff games has played 4.

Haven't looked at the numbers. But I am going to guess that is because Brady had the number 1 defense most of the time.
