Remember when Tiger Uppercut thought we were going to start Alex for like another 3-4 seasons after drafting Mahomes?

Yeah, there's another reason why I didn't attend Alex's going away party. I just wanted him to ****ing get the **** out.

Technically he wasn't available. They traded for him.

He was a great regular season quarterback.
A lot like Kirk Cousins in a way.

A quarterback who is just good enough to pay big money but can never win you a Super Bowl is the worst QB that exists. Daniel Jones set the Giants back about 7 years.

What would you have done if you had taken over running the Chiefs at the beginning of 2013?

Can you imagine a world where we drafted Geno 1:1 overall? Reid may have been fired. Mahomes may have been a Buffalo Bill. Thank God for Alex Smith!!!!

That's better than sticking with the same shitty QB for far too long. Look at the Dallas Cowboys. If you drafted - the guy - you'll know. Right away.

Draft another one the next year, and the next year. That is all that matters. Keep on swinging for the fence.

Jeff ****ing Triplett and forward progress!

That game nearly ended my NFL fandom. But then we had Mahomes and all was sooooo much better.

These days - sure. He was awful early in his career though.

That could be a byproduct of who he was playing for though.

And the talent level on the rest of the team goes to shit because you keep using your top pick(s) on one position.
