Thuney doesn't have the individual awards that a OG usually needs, but the rings probably push him across the line, especially if we win this year with him at LT. But I bet they make him wait a few years.
The guy that's getting mentioned that I think is more unlikely is Butker. He's too early to tell at best. The postseason success obviously helps, but he has zero Pro Bowl or All Pro nods. Plus the bar for a kicker getting in is so high, you basically have to play forever and set all the career records. |

Hall of Fame Monitor
PFR HOF Monitor: 54.55 (27th among G, average HOF G is 105.71) The lowest scored guard inducted is Tom Mack at 59. Of course, rings could be a deal breaker and he has several good years left.

If he saves the 3peat by moving to LT that's a pretty Big Dick move. Chiefs wouldn't be here with Wanya and Kingsley.

Yes and no.
Yes in the sense that he will have what is needed to be strongly considered for it. No because of the backlog in front of him, especially with him being a guard. The HOF seems to be favoring skill positions more because stats are easy to quantify and guard isn’t even considered the most glamorous position on the Oline. I think that hurts his chances which is a shame. |
