So due to a potential work conflict, I didn't think I would get to go to the SB this year. Now thanks to a continuance, I don't need to be in court.

Started to look for a place to stay in NOLA and whooooollyyy sheeet. I mean, I expected expensive but this is bend ya ass ova and beg for forgiveness shit.

So who's going, and where ya stayin?

Yeah man there's lines you don't cross. As much as we can shit on each other at times one thing I have never done is talk about peoples kids, family, spouses etc.

That's blood spilling shit to me.

Still a little too rich for my budget… I’ll be looking for a nice $200 all-you-can-eat/drink watch party somewhere in the Quarter.

Would love to meet up with some of you hooligans down there and buy you a BIG ASS BEER.
looking for those watch parties and don't see any online. Pretty strange.

The wife and I wanted to go - I live 67 miles from the game. We decided we were not going to spend the money to go to the game. Although this is a once in a lifetime chance to go to the SB - we decided to stay at home and watch the game here in BR. I hope ALL of you going have the time of your lives and GEAUX CHIEFS!

I think it's awesome for those who want to and can go! Personally, I just can't ever make it make sense in my head to spend that amount of money on a singular three hour event. I mean I get you can make a weekend out of it, but I can go and have been to New Orleans or Vegas or Phoenix (used to live there) or Miami many a weekend, but I can't pull the trigger on a minimum $50K (there is zero chance I could without and I wouldn't want to go without the B&C and my two sons) for one football game. I mean my Penthouse Suite season tickets and playoff games aren't that much. I can renew those for 4 plus take one hell of a trip to Vegas or any of those other cities for the amount of a SB trip. Again, totally get it for people who do pull the trigger. I am sure you have and will make us all proud. For me and mine, we will continue to attend the Arrowhead Invitational and then throw one hell of a Super Bowl party the two weeks after! It has worked out damn well so far!

I really wanted to go because, living in Seattle, I don't get to hang out with Chiefs fans very often. Two years ago I watched the SB from Maui and found a sports bar which was 90 percent Chiefs fans, and it was freakin awesome. Still stay in touch with a number of the people I met there. Then last year in Vegas, even though I didn't go to the game, just yelling "how bout those Chiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeefffs" at rando times and places and not getting the sad looks from bystanders that the guy arguing with the lamp post usually gets was special.
