I'm serious when i saw that lost in all the hoopla about various goats this week is the fact that the BIGGEST ****-up was Kevin Dotson and it just wasn't close.

1st down, guy jumps early. 2nd down they pick up 12 yards that should've been a first down, instead it sets up a 3rd and 3.

On 3rd down he is responsible for doubling Jalen Carter. He sees the C pick up Carter and for reasons that completely defy understanding, he turns away to help the RT who has chip help AND clearly has his block under control. And Carter just runs straight up the chute to swallow Stafford hole.

And Stafford had a WIDE OPEN tight end over the middle for the likely TD that gives them the lead. The DB covering the TE (I think Higbee) had fallen down. There isn't an easier pitch/catch in the game had Dotson just not gotten out of the way of the best player on the Eagles defense. If he just comes out of his stance and stands still, that's probably a TD.

I mean he absolutely destroyed that drive. My memory is he gacked a 1st down play there as well.

I've never seen a RG do that kind of damage in such a short period of time.

If you told me to show you a video of a guard on the take, I might pick that one.

It was that bad.

Washington was lights out. They definitely are the team playing with the hot hand going into the championship games.

The Sunday games both looked impacted by weather to me. Allen’s statistics in the cold are actually much worse than his reputation would suggest. The Rams/Eagles snow game was fun but the weather was as much of a component as the gameplay itself.

Our game is tough to get a read on. If this exact game was won in 95 we’d be praising our defense and saying our offense did enough to win. But, all of us have been conditioned to expect more from our offense and our O moved the ball and finished drives with a lot more ease against this same exact team a month prior. Eventually, whether it be against the Bills (or perhaps Washington), there’s an expectation that our offense is going to have to operate at a level it has seldom reached this season.

Either that, or we’ll need Spags to get his defense to such an elite level that we can survive without scoring a TD in five quarters of game time like we did in last year’s playoffs.

I had the same thought.

"Man, if he was TRYING to throw that game, he couldn't have done any worse than he did in that 4 play stretch..."

It was shocking.

Eagles did the same thing and STILL should've lost had Kevin Dotson not completely ****ed the Rams on that last drive with the penalty and multiple mistakes.

And I think the Chiefs just beat a vastly inferior opponent.

This is the weekend I usually look at as being the best week of football of the entire season. And yet it looked to me like most teams lost games than actually won them. Hell, even Washington needed the Lions to just be completely 'tarded every chance they got.

At this point I'm still kinda waiting for a team to really stand up and prove they can play a great football game. Instead it just seems like a lot of teams are looking to lose them.
Washington is the only team this playoff season to win on the road in the first 2 rounds, twice.

Now the mountain that needs to be climbed is, can they overcome the 'no rookie QB has ever won a conference championship'.

I hadn't watched them play much this season, but I REALLY like Washington's team. I love their approach on O, and they have just enough Defense to make you stay on your toes. That's a fun team to watch, and probably a mother****er to prepare for.

Bills and Ravens fans are turning on each other again. They had a “**** the Chiefs” alliance before the game.

Bengals, Ravens, and Bills fans all talk trash, but they collectively recognize that Mahomes is better than their guy. They’re fine with their QB being #2 as long as that’s the case.

The last thing they want is another quarterback ranking ahead of theirs, so, in the end, they come to the realization that the best outcome for them is Mahomes winning again.

It’s honestly hilarious watching it all unfold.

Fans these days are dirtbags. Apparently Mark Andrews gf received more than 20,000 hate posts or whatever they're called after the game. I didn't even know his gf was on the team.
