I think Bowers is the best rookie so far

I think this isn't an argument about best rookie but mostly about who we liked heading in that has played well. If it were an exercise in crowning best rookie, I'd think guys like Jayden Daniels, Tyler Nubin, Jared Verse, Kamari Lassiter, Braden Fiske, Zach Frazier, Malik Nabers, and Joe Alt would have solid arguments and be in that conversation.

I don't remember all my draft crushes as draft season has me running around like an 8th grader in a high school. But Burton, Baker and Mims were on the list and all pretty meh. I really liked Jatavion Sanders and he was coming on until he almost died on the field.

McConkey is Good.
The top-15 WRs in yards per route run vs. man coverage this season, per TruMedia. Obviously, any per-route stat is not exclusively player-owned but I generally believe good players produce vs. man. Much of this list passes the smell test and features most of my favorite WRs on film this year. Some quick takes: - Ladd McConkey has pretty definitively been the best rookie WR on film this season and stats back it up

Too bad this guy plays in a shithole bc man this guy is the best rookie QB. You couldn’t pay me to take any other rookie QB.

Leads all rookies in receiving TDs. Second in receiving yards behind Bowers, but only by 12 despite 25 fewer targets. He’s had a great season in a disaster situation.

BTJ was my guy like several others have indicated as well.
I’m happy with Worthy, very excited for his 2nd season, and don’t doubt the pick at all but BTJ woulda looked pretty amazing in red! |
