Taylor will be back. They're too cheap to buy him out. They will fire Lou first.

After how long they retained Marvin Lewis I can’t envision them letting Taylor go, especially considering he has accomplished more.

He really isn’t. He has more fourth quarter INTs in the playoffs than TD passes. That’s striking to me.

3 years and counting since he and the Bengals beat the Chiefs in the AFCCG. Burrow gets more tread on that game moreso than Allen & Lamar Jackson's entire career.

It's hard to tell. I've read Browns daughter is making the calls these days. I'll defer to faulk or Billy, but it might be a different person making the call.

Plus it's not made in a vacuum. I'd all but guarantee there is someone in the room beating the table saying we're not doing this Marvin Lewis shit again.

You ain't lying. It gets brought up every time they talk Bengals. The only active QB to best Mahomes in a playoff game. Brady retired so it's just him. It was years ago and we have two more rings and Joe has nothing. Not even a division title.

There's not even the slightest possibility that Zac is gone. I doubt that Lou is either. They'll point to all the one score losses and look to sign some more cheap free agents and miss on some more draft picks while trying to blow more smoke up fan's asses that they're...

For all the supposed talent they’ve been trash this season. And their defense sucks (27th in yards and 31st in points allowed). Door will close this season when they start shedding players — this was this last swing and they whiffed.

Lou Anarumo who has the "secret recipe" against the Chiefs offense will be the sacrificial lamb instead of Zac Taylor

Huh? CIN's offense has scored an average of 33pts/gm over their last 3, but lost every one of those games. Their defense is the problem. They're 31st in scoring defense and after next week they'll assuredly be dead last, giving up 37.7pts/gm over their last 3 games.

Nothing "sacrificial lamb" about it. Last I checked, Anarumo is the CIN-DC and he's in charge of putting a competent defense on the field, injuries or whatever be damned, and he flat has failed to do so this entire season.

He’ll have another DC job instantly.

Fine. Doesn't change the fact that he's been worse than incompetent this season.

In all fairness, he doesn't have much to work with. Their defensive personnel is awful. They BIGLY miscalculated when they let D.J. Reader go this off-season and Bates the off-season before that. They haven't been drafting well on defense either lately and that's catching up with them.

Lou will likely be the fall guy, but this is absolutely on the front office.

Look at our defense. With the injuries, we've taken a step back recently. Best coach in the world has to have talent to work with. Before they gutted their defense to resign the offense players, they were a top defense. That defense almost won them a superbowl...he's a good coach and I don't want them to fire him and he ends up on a team that just needs a defensive boost to be contenders.
