I have before when a family member speared a piece of sausage out of biscuits and gravy held it in front of my face and said what is that! That particular family member has learned to phrase questions better now. |

Also a Kir Royale is always a good use for fruit liqueur like cassis (black currant) or Chambord, it's just dry champagne and a bit of whatever liqueur Also if you can find it and you really like apple, try pomme eau. It's calvados mixed with cider and then aged in I think oak. It's technically a dessert wine but it's pretty strong but very tasty. Last edited by DrunkBassGuitar; Yesterday at 09:23 PM.. |

I hate pumpkin pie. I hate pumpkin EVERYTHING. It's one of those things that I simply cannot comprehend why or how other people like it. And I really hate it when coffee shops kick normal flavors I like to the curb to offer pumpkin-flavored crap instead.
The worst part of my favorite season. |

Have you thought about getting a cheap bottom round, cooking it at 165 for a couple hours, then saw it into slices and put it a the ends of the platter with the perfectly sliced rib roast?

I'd eat a farting mouse's ass before I'd eat a beet. Why spend money on beets when you can just go out in your backyard and get the exact same taste by eating a handful of dirt? |

I love me some well done, hot apple pie. The flaky golden crust you break off and eat with a nice cup of coffee or after dinner drink is the bomb.

Another pie I don't like is mincemeat pie an Aunt would always make one or two for the huge family get together at TG. I tried it once and never again. The WWII generation and older cleaned it up though.
