The race for HFA.

The afc playoff race…current record and remaining schedules.

KC 9-1
Panthers
Raiders
Chargers
Browns
Texans
Steelers
Broncos

Buffalo 9-2
49ers
Rams
Lions
Patriots
Jets
Patriots

Pittsburgh 8-3
Bengals
Browns
Eagles
Ravens
Chiefs
Bengals

Chargers 7-3
Ravens
Falcons
Chiefs
Bucs
Broncos
Patriots
Raiders

Ravens 7-4
Chargers
Eagles
Giants
Steelers
Texans
Browns

Texans 7-4
Titans
Jaguars
Dolphins
Chiefs
Ravens
Titans

We will likely have Omenihu, Pacheco and Hollywood all active against Houston and Pittsburgh.

I like our chances at HFA.

Really good team that isn't going to be able to string together more than two playoff wins. Record looks better than they are because the schedule hasn't been very strong.
I honestly think that’s our only real competition in the playoffs. They can cover, rush the passer and put up points on offense.

If we do end up getting Hollywood and Omenihu back and they are effective…nobody is beating us but ourselves…but Pittsburgh has the pieces to give us a hard time.

So in addition to Buffalo having a bye week advantage and home field advantage against the 49ers, it looks like Buffalo will also be facing a very banged up version of the Niners. This game doesn't look winnable for San Fran.

But, 'good' defense is often exposed in the playoffs when that team has to play real offenses for a change, and they're actually pretty mediocre offensively... they really only put up points in games where the defense has given them several short fields because their defense is good against shitty offenses.

Their only real AFC competition in the playoffs is the Bills.

Did it with HFA. Last year from #2. Maybe wanting to do it from 3 or more?

This team definitely don't give a shit about the regular season anymore, and focuses in the playoffs.
Actually, last year the Chiefs were the 3 seed. They beat the number 2 seed, Buffalo, then number 1 seed Baltimore.

I was sitting there rooting for the Browns as underdogs and then remembered we play them. Oops

I agree with is. The next 3 games for the Bills will be hard fought. Good teams with good offenses.

I'm gonna say Chiefs finish 15-2 and get HFA. I think they lose at home to either Chargers or Texans.

Two playoff wins would put them in the AFC championship game. That would be one hell of a season for the current Steelers.

I also think the Chiefs will meet the Bills again, this time at the AFCCG. I think Chiefs will win that and advance to SB59.
