I would be fine with an early and late draft pick, and then making a play for a moody or Tyler Boyd. Neither of whom would break the bank. Or Ridley or Hollywood, if either can be had for reasonable $. That’s not a burdensome offseason especially when if we do it right, we can refocus on defense after this offseason.

MVS/Davis etc are the type you just pick up somewhere in the draft. Just a burner.

Hell.....sign Mecole to do it.

No, the playoffs showed what a 28 year old can do to make the offense good enough to stay in games. Our goal should never be “good enough.” We left a lot of plays on the table still and the last 6 quarters showed it’s not gonna be easy to revolve a gameplan around hiding 2-3 guys on the field.

I'd just not go to the MVS type FA well. Let it play out I suppose and see if you can get a Richie James type deal for someone, but with the young WR's coming into the league from the draft....just keep doing that.

We need certainty. If you draft a Skyy Moore again to pair with Kelces last year you are screwed. So Id draft one and sign one.

The more I think about it the more I would walk from Sneed for sure. What we have in McDuffie is special. If there is anyone Id resign it is Jones as hes such a difference maker but Id expect it to be an awful contract at the end. Just gives you a couple good years to pair with Kelces last 1-2 years then rebuild.

We also need a tackle. I think alot of people are forgetting this. Smith was a good deal and serviceable but Morris was a disaster.

I don't think Skyy Moore worked out with Mahomes before the Draft, whereas Rashee Rice did work out with Mahomes before the Draft. This could be a helpful way to make sure they find the right guys in the Draft instead of a total crapshoot.

Sneed times in fine with paying him and it being done when it's time to pay McDuffie.

Right now the plan should absolutely be to resign Mecole and cut MVS. Nobody is going to pay Mecole and it's quite clear this organization can get the best out of him. He has more value here than anywhere else in the league, hopefully he has realized that.

Easier said than done. You never know for sure what you are going to get from a l drafted rookie. We need to KNOW the WR we get to be #1 or #2 on this team WILL perform. Means you just gotta buy one.

Sure if I KNOW we would get another Rice in the draft I wouldn't want to sign one but we dont know.

Just guessing but I'd bet the plan is to give Chris a 3 year deal with a way out in year 3. Have Mahomes restructure to create space to make it work for 2024, after 2024 you can cut Thuney and use his money towards Chris.

Extend Reid a couple years to lower the cap hits again. Cut MVS.

Get your long term guys (Creed, Sneed, Bolton) signed for 4 or 5 year contracts to make sure that they are pushed out to not really have big cap hits until 2026 when Kelce and Jones will probably be gone and their money freed up.

Yup, they sure did.

Then you have cowards like TEX who refuse to come and say they were wrong AGAIN.

That mother****er has just a few posts since the SUPER BOWL and they're all in the KU BB thread

Dude hasn't even had a post acknowledging that the Chiefs won the SB more than 24 hours later

So put you down on the Reeruned "Run it back with the exact same WR group since the Chiefs won the Super Bowl" short bus?
