I think the rules have changed for this Chiefs team.

I trust the defense to get stops now and have since the AFCCG.

With the Chiefs not setting the world on fire offensively and being hit or miss in short yardage, I'm fine with punting in that situation, especially on the road.

Sorry, but you sound like Mitch, but catching a couple of passes doesn't mean this WR corp shined today, and suddenly they are good.

We won the SB last year, and had a couple of picks in the playoffs, and people said the secondary played great overall for the season, because the end result was good, but we literally gave up the most TD passes in the league last year.

These wide receivers do suck, and catching a couple of passes, even TD passes, doesn't change that. Even Ross, who we have been waiting to see, dropped a couple today.

Watson is our best WR.

Let me say that again. Justin Watson is our best receiver.

That is a FN problem.

Oh, no! We’re 4-1. Our lives as Chiefs fans are so very hard.

No shit! No wonder we are the 23rd ranked offense in the NFL... Oh wait?

Watson is not our 'best' WR. He currently has the most yards in the room because of a handful of chunk catches, but Rice actually is seeing more targets and more receptions.

I said the same thing about our defense when we were 9-0.

It was obvious the defense was bad, but everyone was like, you dumb, we undefeated.

How did that turn out?

Yeah, we are 4-1. It still doesn't mean there isn't a problem with the wide receivers.

It just means we are 4-1.

The 1986 team went to the playoffs. It didn't mean we were a good team, or that we were even becoming a good team.

I feel like I am in the twilight zone, because I don't understand how people watch these receivers and believe they are playing well.

There isn't a problem with the wide receivers at this time. They aren't as bad as the 32 defense. Today they were mostly an asset. We got 100 yards off three throws to Watson and MVS FFS. Rashee moved the chains. Ross made two very nice plays. Toney did jitterbug stuff.

And when Kelce left, they all stepped up all at once.

Two of the last three games, they've been good enough for this team.

We can shelve "the wide receivers are ruining our dynasty" for this week.

No one thinks they’re playing well. It’s a question of whether they’re playing adequately enough for us to win games and whether there’s evidence that they’re developing on some level. I think the answer there is “yes.” Maybe you think it’s “no.” But no one is telling you that these receivers are awesome. No one would’ve told you that last year either when we won a SB.

From The Athletic:

When it looked like the Chiefs would have to play the second half against the Minnesota Vikings without Kelce, the receivers were surprised to learn that the coaches planned to use receiver Justin Watson at tight end on some plays.

Minnesota was better than I thought. They were in the top 5 in the league in net yards per play (O - D). Their offensive line is good. That was a solid win on the road.

Pat had zero rushing attempts. Huge difference in the way the Vikings defended us compared to how the Jets defended us last week.

Thinking that 9-0 team has any relevance to our current situation is a perfect example of the overreaction about the wrs.

A. You're comparing one position group to an entire defense.

B. That Chiefs team wasn't qb'd and coached by GOATS that just hosted 5 straight championship games and won two sbs. No one on that team has a prayer of fixing that defense. Not the case with our WRs

Bring up all the Chiefs ineptitude of the past you like. It isn't relevant.

The WRs are a work in progress. We're winning anyway and have every reason to think we're only going to get better.

saw two people wearing packer clothes. Every game at every level has some idiot in a packer jersey.

Did see a colt, patriot, falcon trio. I think they are football travelers. Going to random games at random stadiums.
