They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

I think I've said several times that if one of these guys hits, we're good. If two hit, we're golden. If all three hit, woe to the league.

I also said many times that I can't see Veach missing on three swings and a lottery ticket.

And I also said it might not be pretty early.

And I don't think anyone was more on board with the plan than me.

You’re literally the person who said it was veachs blueprint, not me. And part of that blueprint that veach planned his offseason around revolves around skyy sliding into the juju role. Which he hasn’t. The decision to not consider a bandaid like even a thielen was predicated on Toney and skyy being feature guys until we brought rice along.

I had different ideas for how we could’ve handled this offseason but that’s not even what I’m suggesting right now. I’m not even screaming for a trade. I’m saying we have some solutions in house to fill the holes we’ve created, and all it takes is for us to pivot. There’s nothing wrong with that.

No, I said Veach "laid out the blueprint".

Meaning Veach told us what the blueprint is, not his.

Idk what you’re seeing but there’s a play where Sauce is on Watson in man and Watson has a step on Sauce up the sideline.

We played a hard as hell defense on the big stage. They came hard to play. We don't play a team like that every week. Let's see what happens the rest of the month before we freak out.

You’re also the guy who is somehow convinced CP was against drafting a WR early.

You live in some weird world where you only hear what you choose to in an effort to support your preexisting narrative.

I’ll admit I misremembered cp was interested in guys like zay flowers. That was more of a matter of really good talent potentially sitting right there for us. I also know people would have been just fine using our top picks on a DE and an OT. WR has always been a “nice to have” and people would have been content with a better version of juju.

I am not misremembering how the position was devalued all offseason and how overconfident we were that we would probably be fine because skyy coild just replace juju because he wasn’t very good. Because knowing Reid slowly brings WRs along I was destroyed for suggesting we spend a dime on a veteran bandaid to stabilize the top of the WR room. There was an oversell on a distributed offense and an undersell on the importance of a primary target.

Nobody is open in those two clips.

And if one of them is supposed to be Sauce on Watson, you don't throw at Sauce. That's basically a rule. And especially if your QB has been underthrowing receivers deep for the entire game. 2 INTs is more than enough for one game.

Which of the veteran WRs did you want that went for a dime and not 10 quarters?
